Cover ups

Mays POV
We left the boys in the living room and walked into the kitchen with our heads hung low.

"Misty what were you thinking?!" Leaf angrily asked, her eye glowing green.

"I-I didn't mean for this, the fight hadn't been so bad when I asked for help" she replied looking down. The conversation turned into a fight, Dawn and Leaf ganging up on Misty as usual but instead of defending her like I usually do, I watched Drew from the crack in the door. His face filled with confusion and uncertainty.

"We have to tell them" I say turning to the girls.

"Your joking right?" Dawn asked laughing uncontrollably.

"They were in enough danger before we came" Misty said slumping onto the ground.

"We failed our first undercover mission" Leaf said falling next to Misty.

"Who cares, we failed, it was our first mission" I say like it doesn't matter.

"Of course you would say something stupid like that" Leaf said angrily.

"Leaf!" Misty said hitting her.

"No she's right, every time we fail it's because of her" Dawn said agreeing with her.

"Dawn!" Misty yelled angrily at our sister.

"She got caught by team rocket and by the boys on the same day" Leaf said looking at Misty. I felt a tear stream down my face as I let my bangs cover my sad eyes.

"You're just mad" Misty said looking up to me.

"No their right, I'm to blame. You guys knew I was too young and couldn't control my emotions correctly. I'm sorry" I said walking out of the room with Glaceon close behind me as I make it to the stairs.

"May?" I hear Drew ask but I couldn't face him, I know he blames me too.

Mistys POV
I followed May but before I could make it to the stairs a hand wrapped around my arm.

"Mist what's going on?" Ash asked looking me dead in the eyes, his big brown eyes filled with worry.

"We're sorry, we fail in protecting you and now team cloud can get to you" I say freeing my hand.

"But... What's with the water, and the team cloud? Who are you?" Ash asked me making me crumble. Who am I? I'm Misty, aren't I? I thought as I stepped backwards and ran up the stairs towards May. I'm a weapon...

Dawns POV
Misty ran up the stairs crying sending Ash into even more shock.

"Dawn please explain this" Paul said facing me. With a sigh, I told them about the mission and our powers.

"So you lied too us?!" Gary asked as anger filled his veins.

"We didn't lie to you!" Leaf yelled back.

"Well you didn't tell us about this" Paul said gesturing to the damaged house.

"Well you never asked!" I yelled back and we started to argue.

Drews POV
I watched our friends fight as Dawns words started to sink in. I saw Ash walk towards the stairs and I decided to go with him.

"Hey Drew, do you think Mist will have a battle with Pikachu? I wonder who would win" Ash said as his stupidity take control.

"Haha I think Misty would win" I said sweat dropping as we reached a door.

"Sorry but we can't-" we heard Mays voice but it got cut off by an unfamiliar voice.

"You must bring down this organisation and do it as planned with or without the boys knowing" the unfamiliar voice said, causing curiosity to take over as I opened the door slightly.

"Sir with all due respect, if the boys know the plan and get captured, they may be... persuaded to slip" Misty said with a pause. I saw the girls holding a hollow graphic phone with a picture of a man on the other side.

"That's not my problem, I have to go but keep me in the loop" he said before the phone shut off.

"Girls?"
