Pauls POV
Dawn calmed down so I decided to loosen the hug to look her in her eyes.

"Dawn?" I asked as our eyes met, she bit her lip in a struggle not to cry. Before I could say anything else she whipped around and disappeared into a burst of wind.

"Paul we have to go!" I heard Gary yell from behind me. I turned around and found Drew holding May in his arms.

"We have to get her to the hospital" he said as he tried to stand up but was knocked down once more, this time by a blast of water. May was tossed into the air but was grabbed by a pair of arms as Leaf stood in the air by a thick root.

"Get out of here before you regret it" I heard Misty say before she showed up in front of him. She looked at Leaf as she lowered herself to the floor. Leaf passed May to Misty quickly as steam started to rise up from her.

"She's burning up, find Dawn and make sure she's okay" Misty said as Leaf nodded, entrusting her with May.

"You boys better go" I heard May said weak as she lifted her head up to look at us. I moved over to the others as Drew walked over to the girls.

"May I..." He started once Misty helped her stand.

"Drew please go, I'm fine really" she said with a smile as she looked at us.

"Please be okay" he said with his head hung low before he pressed his watch and disappeared, a single tear running down his face.

"Guess we gotta go to" I said before pressing my watch.

Mistys POV
Everyone but Ash had disappeared at that moment by using their watch.

"Misty I don't want to leave you" he said as he looked into my eyes, a sad smile showing on his lips.

"Ash I-" I begun but was interrupted by May falling to the floor.

"May!" Ash and I yelled as we crouched down beside her.

"Ash I can't feel a pulse!" I yelled as my fingers burned at the touch of her skin.

"Move back" he said seriously as he placed one hand over her heart and one over her stomach. With a quick flash, electricity surged through May causing her to gasp for air.

"Ash what was that?" I asked as I lifted Mays head onto my lap and placed a hand on her forehead, turning it into water as I tried to take her temperature down.

"You didn't think you were the only one with powers did you?" He asked with a smirk that looked unusual on his face.

"The profiles we were given never mentioned anything about powers" I spoke softly as May groaned in her sleep causing Glaceon to turn my hand to ice. Once May settled down, Ashes and my attention went back to each other.

"We never really had a reason to use them so we kept it under raps" he as he stood up extending a hand, accepting it I got up and we started to walk inside. He took May off me before I could even walk through the door and carried her to her room.

"You know, you should be careful" he said as we walked through the door.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I watched him place May on the bed.

"We dropped the mission" I heard him say gently as he walked over to me.

"Then why be careful" I asked as I backed up slowly, my back hitting the wall.

"We're not the only team that wanted your capture as a trophy prize" he mumble as he stopped in front of me, his face inching closer to mine. His warm breath hit my lips as a shiver travelled down my spine.

"Trophies?" I asked as my eyes started to feel heavier.

"Never let your guard down" he said in a gently scolding voice as he kissed me. He placed his hand on my cheek before his warm lips parted from mine, my eyes opening as I watched the smile on his face disappear once he hit his watch. In a flash he disappeared, my heart feeling as if it went with him.

I hope that chapter was a good one because it took me a while to make! Actually it was hard to make due to writers block and laziness but I hope you like it!
