Mays POV
Glaceon and I ran as fast as we could away from the house we had left. We spent too much time being normal... It's time we finished the mission that was given to us I thought as I started to slow down, the heat radiating off of me causing the grass on the side walk of the park to be set a light.

"Glaceon," my Pokemon spoke as she blew cold air in my direction. Once my skin came in contact with the cool air a fog started to form around us.

"I'm not sure what else to do" I told my Pokemon as I went to take a step forward just to fall to my knees. I should have left Glaceon behind I thought as I began to worry about my pokemons health.

"Glaceon glacé" she spoke softly as she rubbed her head against my cheek.

"You're right, we are partners" I said as I hazily stood onto my feet. With one step forward I feel back down, my breath becoming shallow.

"Glace" I heard my Pokemon give off a warning meaning intruders are near.

"Go, get Misty" I whispered to her but she shook her head. I whimpered in pain as my hands started to over heat. This is what papa warned me about I thought as I stared at the flickers of fire that raised from my palms. When put under stress my powers intensify uncontrollably I thought about his words as I clinched my firsts. I stood up and smirked, the intense heat over powering my consciousness.

"Look what we have here" I heard a voice say before two figures stood in front of me.

"Who are you?" I asked as I watched the two surround me.

Mistys POV
"M-may," I sobbed looking at the note. I closed my eyes and ran for the front door, she has to be alright she just- I opened my eyes as I reach the drive way, wiping my tears away as I stood up tall.

"Misty what are you doing?" Leaf asked but I blocked her out.

"Come on May, give me a-" I began to ask as I looked around, my vision soon fixating on a beam of fire that shot through to the sky like a beacon. "Sign!" I yelled running toward the direction of the fire.

"Misty!" I heard the others yell as they began to follow. I came to a halt once I got to the location of the fire beam.

"May?" I asked as I looked down at the girl who stood in the centre of a crater, her eyes glowing red. "M-may," I began to pant, the heat illuminating off her body was too much.

"Glaceon!" I heard Mays pokemon call as May fell to the floor, the heat starting to get worse.

"Oh no, May." I slid down the side of the crater, making a water body over my own to protect me from the heat.

"Misty!" I heard Dawn and Leaf yell but I didn't respond. How could I let this happen? I thought to myself as I cradle her in my arms.

"You girls have been enough trouble for us, now it's time to say goodbye." I heard someone say from behind me before falling to the floor, Mays face being the last thing I saw.

Drews POV
With every step we took following Misty, the hotter it got which was a bad sign according to Dawn and Leaf.

"Over there!" Gary pointed to the centre of a crater.

"What the?" Ash asked as he looked around at the scorched park.

"May!" I yelled as I saw two figures down with the girls, hoisting them up onto their shoulders. I began to make my way down but I was too late, the girls were taken.
