Mays POV
"One more strike!" I yelled and watched as glaceon spat another ice beam towards the smouldering spot on the tank.

"Come on, I don't know how much more time we've got!" Ash tried encouraging but it only stressed me out more.

"We're trying." I looked over at Ash. It was pitch black, apart from the coming and going of the red warning lights, but it was still enough to see the fear in his eyes.

"May it's not working, there has to be another way," Ash looked around, try to find a better way. I sighed, calling my Pokémon pack into their balls.

"There's only one other way to shut it down... but it's not reachable from here." I went back to heating the metal once more.

"What is it?" Ash moves closer, taking my hands off of the tank forcing me to cool them down.

"Once the doors shut, the room starts to flood... with enough water in the room, the electricity would be strong enough to implode it." I explained, shaking my head with disappointment.

"How do we close the doors?" Ash asked looking determined.

"Ash, that electricity alone would kill you, and with the possibility of drowning," I tried to talk him out of it but he wasn't going to listen.

"May, it's the only way... we just need a way to..." he looked around one more.

"What's wrong?" I looked at his confused.

"Damaging the pines might be enough to shut the doors." He tapped on the hollow pipes before commanding Pikachu to use iron tail.

"Ash!" I exclaimed, hitting him over the head as the doors started to close. Ash picked Pikachu up and thanked him, before passing him to me.

"Okay, we need to get you somewhere safe," Ash smiled before shoving me on the other side of one of the closing exits. I looked back at him, getting one final glance before the metal door sealed shut.

"Ash!"

"Pika-Pi!"

Misty's POV
I felt a chill down my spine as I heard May scream out for Ash, panic setting in. Before I knew what I was doing, I was racing towards the door, following the sounds of Mays and Pikachus retaliating shouts.

"Misty!" Dawn yelled.

"Finish up, I have to find them!" I turned back to Dawn, knowing well that she would be capable of finishing the task on her own.

"Fine, bring them home!" Was the last thing I heard before I began to rush away towards Mays worried shouts.

Drew's POV
"May?" I heard her shouting, worried shouts echoing through the vents.

"Drew, go." Paul looked at me with a stern expression.

"We'll meet you out front." And with that I took off, rushing towards Mays distressing shouts.

Leafs POV
"What now?" I looked over at Paul, though he didn't look good.

"I may have used a bit too much power." He admitted before his legs gave out.

"Well, looks like this is gonna be an easy defeat." Trip smiled as he walked towards us.

"Don't underestimate me," I stood straight, showing I wasn't afraid.

"What are you going to do? No dirt, no powers." He smirked with wide eyes.

"Leafeon," I threw her pokeball into the air, calling her out.

"Leafeon," she looked towards me.

"Get Paul out of here, bring him to Gary." With a nod she helped the boy lean on her before they both took off.

"Wow, not even a goodbye from the boy, must care about you." Trip laughed sickly.

"He trusts me to kick your ass." I got into fighting stance. "So, you ready to dance?"
