1.1 The agreement

"..." -> speech

We're in the garden of my house. Foreign ayakashi attacked us.

(Give them my body? Agreement?!)

"How could I..." I sigh.

The monsters quickly surround us while I'm busy being confused. It's terrifying. My knees are shaking in terror and I can hardly breathe.

"Choose me!" Shinra's voice rings out over the commotion, clear as a bell. My eyes meet his.

(Those eyes...)

They're giving me deja vu and I lose myself in them. Before I know what I'm doing, I'm nodding my head.

Shinra smiles at me. "Come!"

He gives my arm a tug and closes me up in his arms.

"Hey?!" I complain.

"Don't struggle." I feel like there's something unusal about the way he's talking and I try to escape from inside his arms.

"Trust me." Shinra looks at me with a serious expression on his face.

(He wouldn't be joking at a time like this, right?)

I play back everything that's happend today in my mind.

(I wouldn't be alive now if it wasn't for these guys protecting me.)

"... Okay. I'll make the agreement with you."

The second Shinra hears this, he pulls my sweater off my shoulder. My neck and shoulders are completly exposed.

"Wh-what are you doing?!" I yell.

I can feel his breath against my neck. "You're skin is so beautiful, like porcelain... Should be tasty."

"...nngh!"

"Heh... Nice response." Shinra whispers against my skin.

(Oh God, what have I done?!)

My whole body feels warm and I'm lightheaded.

He murmurs: "I like that look on your face... Maybe it's time I take it."

"What are you...?!"

I desperately try to fight him off, but I don't have the strength. The next second, the oni is sucking my neck.

"Ow!" A sharp pain rushes through my neck.

"And finally you're mine." Shinra grins bewitchingly.

(This is bad...)

But by the time I think this, it's already to late. I'm drowning in a sea of regret as my consciouness grows dim.

(I shouldn't have trusted him...)
