I'm at work and I let some of the books fall. As I pick them up somebody held one of them out to me. "Here you are."

I look up. Standing in front of me, is a man with a refreshing smile on his face.

(Eek! He's really good looking!)

"Th-thank you!"

(Ugh, I was nervous and said that really loud.)

"Are you alright?" He asks.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine!"

The man smiles friendly and says. "Glad to hear it. Well goodbye."

And with that, he goes. Even the way he leaves is cool.

(Now there's a breath of fresh air.)

It's like something out of a movie and my heart is pounding.

After reshelving, I check the children's section for the picture book I've been looking for.

"Huh? Not here either. It's really old. Maybe they don't have it anymore..."

(I don't remember it too well. I don't know if I'll be able to find it.)

I give up and am about to go back when my eyes fall on a couple of the kids. The boy is reading to the girl.

(I wonder if they're brother and sister. Heh, they're so cute. They remind me of the dream I was having last night. I wonder what that boy is doing now?)

"Ikumi, I finished."

"Thanks. That really helps me out." She looks happy.

"No problem."

Suddenly Ikumi looks surprised. "Hm?"

"What is it?"

"Something good happened, didn't it?" She smiles knowingly.

"Huh? How did you know?"

Ikumi winks. "Just a hunch."

(I can't hide anything from Ikumi...)

"Actually, I just met a really cute guy."

"What! You did?!" She beams at me. "First there was that demon cutie... You're having a lucky streak."

(If you leave out the part about Shinra...)

"Maybe I have."

Ikumi laughs. "Aww. I wish I had!"

"Hey, Ikumi?"

"Yeah?" She looks serious at once.

"There's this picture book I'm looking for, but I can't remember what it's called."

Ikumi asks. "What was it like?"

"Well, it's set in the past and it's about friendship. And it's kinda sad. Like, you might cry. There's a bad guy that everyone is afraid of, but he makes friends with some villagers."

Ikumi considered for a moment the says. "Hmm. I don't know. If that's all you can remember, it might be hard to figure out."

"That's what I thought..."

"I'll help you look, though. Let me know if you remember anything else about it." She smiles again.

"Thanks, Ikumi."

Then she asks. "Why are you looking for it anyway?"

"Actually, it was in a dream I had."

"A dream?" My friend looks surprised.

"Yeah, about the first boy I really liked."

I tell Ikumi about the dream I had last night.

She laughs. "Nice dream."

"So now I really want to read that book again."

"I see." Ikumi grins.

"I didn't know who he was or where he was from, but he was my first love."

She bursts out laughing. "You know, some people say that when you dream about somebody, it's because that person wants to see you."

"Really?"

"I bet that boy wants to see you." Now she's smiling nonstop.

"Haha. That would be nice."

"It could be a sign that you're going to see him again."

"I doubt it."

(But why do I keep dreaming about him lately?)

"How do you remember that stuff?" Someone says.
