The way he saw it, everyone got to feel love. But first love only happens once, so you should be careful.

Well he wasn't.

Stiles Stillinski is a teenage boy. He has everything required to a normal life. He has a best friend. He has a normal dad. He has a spark of a revolution inside him. He has a girlfriend--- wait what?

No. Stiles Stillinski does not have a girlfriend. He could have. There are girls that would die to have a chance with him. And they stare at him while he stares at Lydia Martin.

Lydia Martin. God this girl is a dream.

She is amazingly beautiful, surprisingly strong and totally inapproachable.

She is a girl in Stiles' class. She is smart, pretty and popular. She also happens to be Stiles' best friend's girlfriend's best friend. WIth other words:

Scott Mcall is Stiles' best friend since they could remember theirselves.

Scott is dating Allison Argent, a very beautiful, sweet, kick-ass girl.

Allison's best friend is Lydia Martin. Lydia fucking Martin.

Stiles and Lydia don't talk. They never did and they ,most likely, will never do.

Or at least that's what they thought. Until today.

Stiles and Scott were sitting at a table, eating lunch.

-Man he hates me. I don't know why he just does! ,Scott was saying.

"He" was the lacrosse team's coach. And yes he hated Scott. But then, coach hated almost everyone.

-He'll get over it. You know coach. , Stiles said.

Scott sighed.  Scott was a dark-haired and dark-skined boy. He looked tough and strong and he was strong but if you met him you would see that he was sweet like sugar.

Stiles was another story. He was tall and thin with no visible muscles. He had a pair of golden eyes and wild hair.

-So Allison and I are going ice-skating. ,said Scott, changing the subject.

-You hate ice-skating. ,Stiles said with a frown.

-Well she  doesn't. And I don't hate it I just don't know how to do it. But I am going to try. And I was wondering if you'd like--

-No way. Don't even think about it. ,Stiles cut him off.

- ---to come with us. , Scott finished his sentence anyway.

-You know that won't be happening, Scott. EVER.

-Well yeah, I thought so. But I just hoped that you would change your mind if you knew Lydia will be there.

Lydia will be there...

See, Stiles' crush was never hidden. Scott knew it. Allison knew it. And if you didn't know it you could see it in the way he looked at her.  Looked at her in class, in the hallways, in the cafeteria.

-Lydia will be there? Like Lydia. Lydia-Lydia. Lydia Martin? , Stiles asked not believing his friend's words.

-Yes Stiles. Lydia Martin.

Scott and Lydia weren't best friends.  But the both loved Allison and the were both big parts of her life. So, now Lydia and Scott were friendly to each other, they even talked.

-So when should we get going?

Scott smiled. Stiles smiled back.

He knew it was nothing really, just ice-skating, but if he could manage to make Lydia to talk to him, then he could manage to do everything.

Everyone thought Lydia Martin was flawless. She was flawless, her life was flawless, even her hair was flawless. She was a queen, she was a princess.

But once upon a time a princess kissed a frog.
