"I'll get the Blue Cheese Burger," Corey said, reading off the menu.
"You got it, and for you ma'am?" The waiter looked down at me.
It wasn't until now that I realized his green eyes. Lord knew I was a sucker for green eyes, especially since his skin tone was perfectly golden. Man, light skins are a blessing.
"The sa-"
"The salad... right?" Alexandra cut me off.
In this moment, I knew that I'd have to fight her sometime in her lifetime.
"Excuse me?" I asked, offended.
"I just thought you'd want the salad because.. you know," She rose her eyebrows and looked at my stomach.
I looked down to see nothing but my thighs.
"I am not fat,"
"You're getting there." She shrugged.
I knew I wasn't fat, because I worked out regularly. So, of course I knew that her words couldn't really insult me but I obviously still got offended.
"You know what.. anyways. I'll get the same as him." I said, closing my menu.
"Okay, 2 Blue Cheese burgers, one order of prime rib with the mashed potatoes, and one cranberry chicken salad," The waiter read off his notepad in his deep voice.
Shea nodded towards the tall boy and I watched him walk away.
"So Corey-"
"I'd rather not talk to you." Corey smiled politely at Alexandra and I tried my best not to die of laughter.
The bitch just got swerved.
...
O'shea paid for the meal and all of us immediately walked outside to be greeted by lots of paparazzi. Alexandra held onto Shea like a little bitch, and Corey just held my hand to get through the huge crowd.
"What do we got here? Double date?!" One of the interviewers yelled.
"Just dinner with some friends, bro." Corey nodded.
"So what's the status? Alexandra and O'shea still happily together. What about you and Jada?" The interviewer was probably pushing everyone in his path to the curb to keep up with us.
"Like I said, just friends." Corey repeated.
"Alright. Thanks." The short white interviewer stopped and walked the other way.
The four of us kept walking, being bombarded with questions until we entered a gated parking lot. The paparazzi stayed but there barely as many as there were before.
"Aight, so the SUV should be takin all four of you guys to your houses. It'll be here soon." The tall security guard told us.
"Thank you." I smiled.
Moments later, a large SUV pulled up in front of us. Corey sat in the front, leaving me stuck in the back with Hollywood's ugliest couple.
O'shea sat in the middle, which I was very grateful for. But, for the first ten minutes of the car ride, all Alexandra wanted was to suck Shea's face off.
I was on my phone until the car made a hard stop, then the driver sighed. I looked up to see nothing but brake lights on the back of different cars.
"Wow.." I mumbled.
"Looks like we'll be stuck in traffic for a while.." The driver sighed.
"How long do you think?" O'shea asked.
"At least an hour.."
Oh this is perfect. Stuck in a car with Satan for at least an hour.
"You got an aux cord?" I asked, sighing.
Might as well make this a little exciting..
He passed me the wire and I blasted Right Hand by Drake. I leaned back in my seat and stared out the window.
You my right hand, you my go to..
I tapped my fingers to the beat. Crazy that I actually helped Drake write this song. I helped a lot of artists write songs.. It's like my thing.
While staring outside the window, I felt a hand on mine. I quickly looked up and saw Shea trying to grab my phone.
"Can I?"
"Sure.." I nodded.
He took it from my hands and I waited as he looked through my music selection. He smiled and handed my phone back.
Aint nothin but a gangster party
I laughed and shook my head. Shea was smiling and bobbing his head to the beat.
"Picture perfect, I paint a perfect picture." O'shea rapped in his deepest voice, trying to sound like my dad.
We spent the hour listening to some music and joking around with each other.
Thankfully, Alexandra stayed silent. The driver finally exited and dropped all of us off at Shea's house.
"Thanks!" We waved as he drove off.
"Aight. So ya'll can either spend the night or I can drive ya'll home," Shea said as we walked into his house.
Hm, spending the night with O'shea.. and his bitch. Sounds like a no.
"I'd rather ya'll just spend the night. I'm kinda tired.." He yawned.
Alexandra rolled her eyes and went up the stairs.
"Guess we're spending the night," Corey sighed.
I followed O'shea as he lead me to a guest room. He quickly pushed me in and closed the door.
Confused, I turned around and he immediately put his hands on my hips.
"O'shea." I gasped.
"Look. I just wanna apologize about Alexandra. I don't know why she started actin out like that. You aight?"
By now, he was holding me close to him. I was looking down when he started to apologize.
"I'm fine," I mumbled.
"I just don't know why you wouldn't confront her or something." I said angrily.
"Jada, I'm sorry.." He whispered.
"Prove it." I smirked.
He rose an eyebrow at me and started forming a grin.
But before he could do anything, the Aaliyah Wannabe had to ruin it.
"Shea?" She called on the other side of the door.
