Some people miss it

Some people forget it

Some people never got one,

Not a good one anyway.

Giggles soon turned into

Tear streaked cheeks

Mom's loving embrace

Was replaced with no love at all.
A damaged soul can't be easily fixed.

You can't glue the heart back together,if you can't find its pieces.

Your home replaced

Some people get over it

Some people run away from it

Some people are stuck with it,

No longer seeing your brother's face.

Replaying the memories, not able to escape.

Relief is what I seek,

The burden of grief to be released.

THEY SAY THEY UNDERSTAND

But they have not seen what it has done to me.

Some people try to fix it

Some people are lost in it.

Some people will say 'it's alright'

Some people will try to save your life

Some people will watch you suffer and die.

Because they can't understand,

it's your life.
