You were like my protector
A force rarely seen
Teaching me the ways of the world
Like I was blind and couldn't see
The things you did
Our moments lost
Guarantied hard memories for me
Now my futures bright
No pain in sight
The wild storm a lost memory
Maybe it's good that you are not hear
That your soul has been set free
Because now I have a chance to shine
A vision just for me
Looking back now I see
You were just my prison guard
Who really loved me
All is in the past I have forgiven you at last
