My dream is as silent as falling snowThe hope for a freer tomorrow
A desire locked within a cage
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Growing but held back
Yearning for light but being puffed out
It wonders in darkness
Defending itself
Screaming only never to be heard
It stands at the ready
Prepared to defend
Against an army so strong
The fight never ends
And when I look around
Nobody in sight
With the strength I have
Refusing to cry
I look again
To find my friend
A cold harsh reality
