The storm was bad, really bad. I'm stuck here for almost three months as the only bridge out was being cleared as a new, makeshift, bridge was built.
I hated that Fey had let Jay see my dark side. I hate how now every time I would see him he would always try and talk to me. I hate that he's only doing it because he's curious. I hate that I'm walking through the woods to avoid him.
"Stupid little dalek!" I grin at the worst insult possible for a Doctor Who fan. I kick a stone with my army boots as I trudge along. A howl no so far away stops me dead in my tracks. We're there actual wolves here? Well no shit sherlock seeing as one was standing right infront of me. Wait WHAT!!
The light grey wolf growls at me, advancing slowly. He's massive, taller then me and scary as shit. I look around for any trees to climb, no such luck wich is ironic since I'm in a forest.
"We'll then, you wanna play? FETCH!" I chuck the biggest rock as hard as I could into his shoulder. I watch in shock as the wolf shakes it off like it was nothing.
"Right, bad idea very VERY BAD IDEA!" I scream and run.
Really there is no contest, he cuts me off easily and circles me.
"Watch it Frodo, ill fuck you up." I warned pulling out the switch blade that I always carry. Hey! It's not easy being me!
He cackles and his lips are pulled back from his teeth in a snarl that backs me up against a tree trunk.
"Tempest!" I look past the monster and see...ok seriously, this boy needs to stop following me. PRORITIES! My brain screams at me.
The wolf wheels around and hisses at Jay.
Jay doesn't even flinch, but instead starts to rip off his clothes.
"What the hell are you doing!?"
He gives me one sad look, I'm not gonna lie I think I melted just a little bit.
"Saving you." He mumbles as the wolf lunges at him.
"Jay no!" I run forward but am stopped dead as...did Jay just turn into...ok maybe I should start taking my medication.
Jay the wolf meets the other in mid leap and they smash together like a pare of eighteen wheelers. I flinch and shirk into the tree. Okay...how...how is this possible.
Even though Jay's bigger the other wolf has experience and in no time he has him pinned to the ground, one claw raise to execute him. Sometimes I go on auto-pilot.
I ran in when his attention was full on Jay and...kicked him as hard as I could in the nose. My round house brought his massive head down hard on the ground cracking the rocks. Bleeding from the nose and cheek.
"Back up dog, I'll fuck you up." He lunged at me but his senses couldn't have been at their best because I dodged him easily and dragged my blade against his side. It couldn't be fatal but sure as hell hurt. He roared with pain and rage and lunged at me, pinning me beneath him, his snapping jaws inches from my face. I don't know what made me say it but I screamed the first name that came into my head.
"JAY!"
WHAM! The beautiful deep grey-blue wolf slams into the other and knock him off him. I huddled there, Jay(the wolf) standing over me and snarling. The other wolf whined and then dashed away.
"Jay, your coat's so pretty." Yup. I most certainly hit my head. I tug gently on the soft white fur of his chest.
I must have looked bad because he whines and lowers his head to my shoulder, it's slowly seeping blood but he licks it gently. I pull his head to face me.
