I woke up sticky with sweat and not in the sexy way more like oh my god where's the fucking shower! Kind of way. I dived into the tub and didn't come out for ten minutes.

It was raining outside so I yanked a black hoodie on and black jeans along with my black chucks. I didn't feel like putting on a show today. I ran out of the hotel and into the freezing rain. I pulled my hood lower onto my face and ran to the nearest coffie shop.

Once my caffien driven brain was satistfied I paid for my drink and left, feeling much better than I had been this morning.

"Leave me alone!" I high pitched shriek came from behind me, I turn and spot a young girl, around 15, get pinned in a corner by a tall man with dark hair. I look around, no one was on the street due to the weather but me and the pair. I remember being her, the fear, the terror, the realilization that escape was not only impossible but painful.

"HEY!" I shout at the boy. He turns and growls as I advance.

"Get lost."

"Let her go." I quietly stick my hand in my back pocket, clutching my switch blade.

"I said get lost!"

"Is this your idea of fun? Pinning  girl to a wall and seeing how loud she can scream?" I glared at him.

"Do you want to end up in the same position bitch?"

"Try me, dickhead. I will fuck you up asshole." I pulled out my switch blade as he advanced and the girl scarperd out of there.

"Seriously?" I unlocked the blade and et it swing out to its full six inches of cold steel.

"Poor little girl so faraway from home. Too bad you, since your hero is gone."

"I don't need a hero frodo."

He grabbed my wrists and yanked me forward. I used the force to knee him as hard as I could in the groin. He gasped and let go, I turned and ran as fast as I could, but soon, too soon arms were wrapped around my waste too tight and yanked me back.

"Let go!" I screamed my knife wrenched out of my grasp, it clattered to the floor.

"Not so tough now are you, Kitten?'

"GET OFF ME!" I screamed.

"What's going on here?" Shouted a familar voice. Jay arrved in time to see me give the man a bloody nose with my elbow. I stomped o his foot and he let go finally. I ran past Jay but arms stopped me and pulled me to hi chest.

"What did he do?" He growled. A side of him showing that scared almost as much as the man behind me, "What the fuck did you do to her?" He roared at the man, I flintched.

"W-we weren't doing anything wrong. Were we, Kitten?"

"Don't you fucking dare. Don't you dare call her that." He snarled.

"Jay..." I trailed off as his attention stayed riveted to the man. I squirmed until I facing the boy too, Jay still holding on afraid he might snap and kill the boy otherwise wich I don't get.

"Oh Kitten you've got yourself a little warrior don't you?" Taughnted the fully grown man. His smile making me feel icky all over.

"Oh that's it." Jay let go of me and started forward.

"Jay! Please don't do this."

"Pretty girl, get out of the way. I don't want to hurt you." He looked at me and I knew what he was planning to do.

"Jay! Please don't!"

Hands, soft but firm pulled me back and away from the Jay who was becoming way to scary in my mind.

"I'm sorry Tempest but he has to do this." In any other situation I would have been thrilled to meet the boy who Fay talked about constantly but right now, Spark was just in the way.

"NO HE DOESN"T! Jay, don't do this!" I peaded with the wolf who was stalking the man, the man who was discusting and scared shitless but still a human being with chances to redeem himself. I wouldn't let him kill him.

"LET GO!" And, with a mental apollogy to Fey and her future children, I turned around and kneed him in the groin. He coughed and let go. I ran infront of the wolf with the beautiful grey-blue fur and latched onto his muzzle.

"J-Jay s-stop you're scaring me." I begged.

"Tempest! Get out of there!" I ignore Spark and shove the tip of wolf's nose to my neck and wait there, while his hackles slowly lowered, not wanting to tear me apart.

"Jay stop this. He's human like me, has a life like me. I will not let you sacrifice your peace of mnd over him. He's not worth it."

Wolf whined at my neck being so close, I heard barks of others and I turned around to see the light grey wolf fro before advance at Jay. I was pushed ot the side and suddenly it wasn't one on one, now three wolves fought the attacker. I was no contest really, the light grey wolf was dragged away, yipping and snarling. I was on the ground shocked as the snarls and shrieks were abruptly cut off by a loud snap! That reverberated through my skull.

"Tempest." A fully clothed Jay steps into my line of vision. His fingertips touch my cheek and I flintch back, "Tempest please."

"N-n-n..." I can't speak, I can't breath. Something is forcing it's way up my throat.

"Pretty girl, I'm so sorry." His hand reaches out again and I cower away from it backing into a wall. THis is too close right now, too much killing.

"D-d-don't!" The whisper is rough and quiet.

"Pretty girl, please do not back away."

"Y-y-you killed him!"

"I did."

"Go, just go."

"Please-"

"G-go!"

I stood up on shaky feet and pointed to the woods. He took a step forward and I whimpered.

He backed away and then turned and ran.

he saved you...you know that? Said a small voice in my head.
