CHAPTER ONE
Max' PoV
I came home from grocery shopping and went into mine and my best friend George's apartment. "Hiya!" I yelled as I entered the house. "Hi Max!" I unpacked the stuff I bought and went into the living room and saw George sitting on the sofa, staring at his screen with a big grin on his face. "Who is it?" I asked him, smiling. "Who is?" He asked innocently. I laughed. "Your new girlfriend...?" "Err... Her-her name is Jessie... And she's amazing!" "When am I meeting her?" He blushed and I pinched his cheek. "Aww little Georgie got a crush!" He slapped my hand away. "She's coming over tonight! If that's okay with you, of course!" He said. "Yes, I'd love to meet her... Oh and maybe we can go clubbing!" I answered, causing George to blush again. "Yeah! That would be allright, I guess!" He answered and texted his girlfriend again. "You're cute when you're in love." I sighed and got up to go to my room and blast some Ed Sheeran while I'm getting ready for tonight.
"Max! Do I look- woah! Looking hot girl!" George said and laughed. "You don't look to bad yourself dude!" I smiled and looked into the mirror. I was wearing denim shorts, a lose tank top, which was tucked into my shorts, my favorite trainers and natural make up. George was wearing kaki pants and a plain white polo shirt with a pair of Nikes. "Let's go downstairs, Jessie can be here any minute." I nodded and followed him downstairs. The doorbell rang and George ran to the door and opened it. A figure jumped on him, wrapping their legs around his waist and kissing him. They were cute together. I walked into the kitchen and let them do their "thing." I poured myself a glass of water and walked into the living room. George's girlfriend sat down next to me. "Hi! You must me Max! My name's Jessie!" She said, smiling. I hugged her and smiled. "Nice to meet you! And yes, I'm Max." I liked her... So far. I whispered into her ear: "Take good care of George, he's a keeper!" Pulled away and smiled. So did Jessie and George entered the room and he sat down in a chair. Jessie stood up, sat down on his lap and George wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close and kissing her cheek. Jessie blushed slightly. "So... You guys live together in this apartment?" She asked. "Yes." I said firmly. Jessie bit her lip. "Don't worry, we aren't like friends with benefits' or so..." I said awkwardly. Jessie raised an eyebrow. "Uh, okay..." "We have never... Y'know." Jessie nodded awkwardly. "Can I just say Jessie you look stunning." I said, trying to break the tense. "Err... Thanks. You do too Max. But why'd you never... I mean just look at him." "Because he's my best friend and I've never seen him as more than a best friend and well..." I rambled. "And what?" She asked sweetly. I took a deep inhale of breath. "And because I'm gay." I looked down at my hands and fiddled with my fingers. Suddenly Jessie was sitting next to me. She placed her hand on my shoulder and whispered: "Don't worry Max. I'm not homophobic. And... I'm bi." I smiled and thanked her, before jumping up and screaming: "Let's have a party tonight!" I ran into the kitchen and walked back into the living room with popcorn and coke. "What's your idea of a party?" Jessie asked me. "Well, for Max a party is a night hanging on the sofa and munching popcorn. Mine is clubbing and dancing. She'll come with us eventually." George explained her. "Let's go?" Jessie said. "Let's go!" Max and I said while high fiving each other.
We entered the club and George immediately walked to the bar and ordered something. With alcohol of course. George returned and handed me and Jess our coke. "You don't drink?" She asks questionably. "Nope." I took a sip of my drink and we all headed to the dance floor to dance a bit. 'Jess, I know you from somewhere... Is that possible?' I shouted. 'Yes, that's possible... You see, I'm a singer and -' 'Jessie J! YOU ARE JESSIE J!' I suddenly realized. She nodded and we continued to dance. I don't mind she's Jessie J. I mean, who would? She is absolutely amazing! I've always liked her music, and now I could say I was starting to like her too.
