Chapter Two

CHAPTER TWO

Max' PoV

I woke up from bright lights shining through the curtains. It had to be around 10, I guessed. I shoved the cover off me and got up out bed. I went downstairs and searched for pancake mix. I bought it yesterday, it should be somewhere in here. 'Good morning!' A chirpy voice said. I turned around and saw Jessie. 'Hiya! Have you seen the pancake mix?' Jessie blushed, nodded and whiped her mouth. 'Yes... I might have baked some pancakes this morning... Don't worry, I saved you and George some!' 'Speaking of George, where is he?' I asked. 'Oh, he's in the living room watching Spongebob... He's so childish sometimes! But I like that side of him.' Jessie said. I laughed and nodded. I knew that side of him.

'Jess, you're a great cook! Just marry George or move in here so you can cook more often!' I said often I've eaten the pancakes. THEY WERE DELICIOUS. 'You just want me to move in for my pancakes!' Jessie yelled back and stuck out her tongue. 'Yes.' me and George said in unison. Jessie smiled devilishly and tickled him. 'Okay! Aaah! Please stop!' George screamed. He screams like a girl, which I think is pretty funny. 'I will if you tell me that I'm the most AWESOME person on earth!' Jessie said, laughing hysterically. 'Ahhh! JESSIE YOU ARE THE MOST AWESOME PERSON ON EARTH!' He yelled and Jessie stopped tickling. He jumped up and shouted: 'Just kidding!' Before running upstairs. Jessie shook her head and ran after him, leaving me alone in the living room. I sat down on the sofa and watched Spongebob. I texted my friend, Maya, and we decided to hang out today. 'Hey, fellas! I'm going out with Maya, see you later!' I yelled and stepped out of the door.

George's PoV

'Just kidding!' I shouted and ran upstairs, laughing. A place to hide... I need a place to hide! I immediately thought of the bath, but that would be predictable... Max' room! I hid under her bed and heard Jessie's footsteps. 'Georgie? Where are you little boy?' she said sweetly. 'Show yourself or someone doesn't get cuddles tonight!' she threatened. I really wanted those cuddles. Jessie cuddles were the best! but I wasn't not going to give up easy. Oh no. I quickly grabbed my phone and turned of the sounds, so she couldn't me. Just as it was off I received a text from Jessie. *I'm so going to get you.* The text read. I heard Jessie curse and walk into the bathroom. 'Are you here? Oh, obviously not. Not even in the bath! Woah, I'm impressed!' She said and laughed. She walked out of the bathroom, into my bedroom. 'George? Dude, where are you? You're not even under your bed!' She sat down on the bed and sighed. 'Where would Max' room be?' She mumbled and I heard her enter Max' office. She worked at a fitness, so that's why she was fit. Yeah, my best friend was pretty hot... for a best friend. 'Gotcha!' Jessie shouted and entered the room. 'I know you're under the bed George, c'mon!' she said and knelt down. 'Hi!' I said. 'Hey, fellas! I'm going out with Maya, see you later!' Max yelled and walked out of the door. Jessie helped me up and we went downstairs. 'Who's Maya?' she asked. 'Her girl best friend, whom she hangs out with lots. Mostly when I'm out with my friends or visiting my mum's.' I explained. 'Okay.'

Max' PoV

'Maya!' I yelled and jumped up to hug my bestie. 'Hi guuurl!' She said in her American accent. She's from California. We sat down with our coffee and talked a bit. 'I heard George has a girlfriend... Is she nice? I hope she isn't like the last one, what was her name again?' Maya said. 'I think it was something like Ruby... I'm not sure... But anyways, Jessie is cool. I like her so far, she seems like a nice girl.' I said honestly. 'And how's your love life?' 'Let's say it like it is: Maths is more interesting than my love life!' I said and laughed. 'And yours?' 'Well, I have Brad, we're still doing well after 2 years... Of which I'm proud. He's such a lovely guy!' She said enthusiastically. I smiled, she and Brad were really cute! Like, the perfect couple! Maya received a text. 'Oh, no! I have to go now babe, sorry! I'm so sorry! Today should be my day off and-' she rambled. 'It's okay, honestly. You go do whatever you have to do and I'm just going to... Eat.' I said and shrugged. I eat a lot. 'Are you sure?' She asked and I nodded. She hugged me tight and ran out of the door. 'MacDonald's, MacDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Pizza Hut!' I sang quietly to myself.
