Here we go xD It's exam season for Ash and co! Which also means there isn't long before the end, so I wanted to take this time to once again thank you all for the support, even though I will be doing this at the end aswell :P Just a brief thanks and I hope the great support continues!

On a little sidenote, I started a new story called 'Parasite Inc.' and quite obviously, it is set within a zombie apocalypse. The first chapter is 4,000 words long, so I put alot of work into it and I would appreciate any support (If you are into that type of thing, I don't want to force people into reading it with continuous amounts of advertising)

The above prompted a question: What is your favourite genre? And be more creative, I know fan fiction is going to be a favourite, but pick something else x) your second favourite, maybe?

Anyway, enough from me, lets get on with the chapter.

(Ash)

"I am so nervous that every subject block has chosen to test us on exams for our final few weeks" May clutched her hands together and played around with them, feeling incredibly nervous.

"I think it will be okay. We have all done various assignments and homework over the year, so atleast we can benefit from that" Iris pointed out. Of course she would be the calmest person in this situation, as she had nailed practically everything within her subjects. The exams were spread out across different periods over the next two weeks. I have to do an exam in my social studies class, while doing a final assignment at home. It was the same with practically everything else, which meant that I was going to have to do homework everyday.

"I don't know what to think" I admitted, feeling slightly nervous. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I turned slightly, noticing Serena by my side.

"You will do fine Ash. We all will" She said with utmost confidence. She pulled her hand away and kind of squeezed in next to me, sticking to my arm like glue.

"Yeah, lets just give it our best and hope everything is ok" Misty fist pumped the air, showing her confidence. She was just like Gary in school. They both had difficulties with learning things and it troubled them with their homework's and such.

As soon as the bell went I headed to my lesson to do my exam. Everything was set up and we began answering the questions, spending the whole hour scribbling on the pages of the exam. It took a lot of effort and thought to complete but I managed to finish within the hour and we spent the next hour of social studies going through the assignment. It was an assignment to do alone and it was a presentation on the different things within social studies, everything we had learnt had to go into the presentation and we was going to be graded based on the information sent to our teacher.

After the rest of the day was over, everyone instantly went home to go and study. I prioritized my social studies work and decided to turn on my computer almost instantly and start working on it right away. Time seemed to skip because I was being shaken up from the computer.

"Ash?" I heard my Mom's voice and jumped out of my seat.

"Huh, wha-? What time is it?" I asked, slowly recovering from being woken up.

"I just finished making dinner, you must have been sleeping for a long time" She shook her head and then made her way back to my door. "Come on"

I slowly got up and followed her down to go eat. leaving the computer on so I could return to work. After dinner, I continued spending hours on the presentation, trying my hardest to not leave out any vital information wherever possible. After a few hours of continuous typing, I got tired and saved my work, before jumping into bed and falling asleep instantaneously.

I suddenly woke up on top of a rooftop. I felt so confused as I slowly got up and looked around, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, there was a banging on the door and Serena's voice.

"Help me, Ash! Pleas-s-e" She cried out, still banging on the door. As soon as I opened the door, a fist hit me in the nose. I felt so confused because Serena wasn't there, it was Kevin. He grabbed hold of my collar and lifted me up.

"You will amount to nothing in life. I am the one that is right for Serena, not you!" Kevin shouted at me, shaking me around. I felt helpless, trying to shout out to prove he was wrong, but no words came out of my mouth, I couldn't even move.

"You are a failure, Ash Ketchum" Kevin's voice started to fade and he launched me off of the rooftop. I felt helpless as I flew through the air. I tried to scream out, but there was only the sound of the rushing wind.

I quickly sat up from my bed, panting heavily. Sweat had formed across my forehead as I continued to erratically breathe in and out, feeling a little dizzy. What kind of a dream was that? A message, maybe. Perhaps I am a failure...

I got up and stepped over to the window. My clock said 2am, yet I didn't feel tired. It was a strange kind of feeling. I picked up my phone and slumped down against the wall, doing whatever I can to keep myself occupied before the sunrise.

I explained the strange dream to Gary as soon as I got to school.

"Sounds to me like you are just having negative thoughts" Calem said, listening in to my explanation.

Gary nodded "I was thinking the same thing. You need to have confidence, I know you can do it myself" Gary thumped my arm with a smile, in a weird supporting kind of way.

"I was so confused when I woke up. The dream felt so real it was too good to be true..." I looked at my hands. Was I dreaming now? How could I be so sure?

"Ash, I can tell you this isn't a dream" Cilan suddenly appeared out of nowhere, literally reading my mind. I nodded, hardly believing myself for thinking it could be one.

"Well, anyway" Gary continued. "Just don't be negative and while you are at it, forget about that moron like we said, ok?"

"Ok.." I spoke slowly, giving him a slight reassuring nod.

"Good, now lets head to gym class a little early" Cilan suggested, so we decided to follow him.

I wasn't worried about my future in terms of my grades anymore. I was more worried about my future with Serena and the part Kevin would play. I had to lie and pretend that I could forget about him, but he will never go away until he gets what he wants. Serena.

I apologize for this chapter being so bad  -_-' but once I get near an ending, I just can't come up with any ideas. The same running theme has been going on for 5 or so chapters now but I can't do anything more or anything less, so sorry.

Also, sorry for it being a little shorter than I have usually been doing, I hope to do better in the next chapter! Until then :)
