Long chapter title, I know. This chapter may be a little short, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Also, on another note, I am going to be taking a 3-4 day break from amourshipping so I can catch up on another book 'Zodia - Land Of The Forgotten' because I entered the #JustWriteIt competition and I aim to please. Also, if you want to know what makes me mad or the things I like to discuss, check out my new discussion and rants book to get in on the, well...discussions and rants lmao.

The question for today is:

Do you think Ash will win the Kalos League? Simple enough really.

I think it's been 18 years now and they have been a little harsh in not letting him have a victory. The only person that worries me is Sawyer, because he is losing to Ash and talking about becoming stronger, so I have that feeling he will beat Ash at the league, somehow. But, I want Ash to start of his league victories in Kalos, but not become champion, otherwise the pokemon series for Ash is pretty much dead as he will have constant duties in Kalos and other regions, so he couldn't spend time going for other leagues and trying to rectify his past mistakes or perhaps going to another, new region for a new generation of pokemon, which then begs the question, what about his Kalos friends? Because we love them too much xD

Well after the baseball game we became the talk of the town amongst the people at our high school. Gary told everyone about it and some of the freshman actually saw our comeback happen, which was a surprise. Our new found popularity was confirmed when I walked into school. People began murmuring in groups and looking at me as I walked through the yard, my two middle fingers still buddy taped. Someone stepped in front of me, presumably one of the freshmen.

"I-I saw your baseball game!" The freshman's eyes gleamed as he looked up at me. I slowly looked down and raised my eyebrow, playing it cool.

"Sweet. It was a great game!" I gave him a little smile and tried to continue walking, but the freshman started walking backwards, keeping up with me.

"You need to teach me and my friends! Please!" He sounded like he was begging. I kept casual and gave out a little laugh.

"Eh, sorry kid. I am busy, being a senior and all. Maybe someday though?"

"Oh, I see" The freshman walked off without another word and it went back to the constant whispers.

"-I know we are literally getting stared at constantly, but isn't it already getting annoying?" Cilan was complaining as I walked up. Everyone already looked fed up besides Gary.

"I always get this attention from the ladies, isn't that right Ash?" He looked up and grinned at me. I kept myself emotionless and stared blankly, blinking once.

"Yeah..." I stretched out the vowels, making sound as sarcastic as possible "Right...."

"Ash!" Serena leaped off her bench and almost knocked me over with a hug.

"Huh?" I looked down at her smiling face "Why the sudden excitement?"

"Well.." Serena looked around, as if asking for confirmation "We got invited to a party by Kevin!"

I swear my jaw dropped "Kevin, Kevin?" I asked for confirmation. I got a 'you're an idiot' look and Serena sighed.

"Which other Kevin do you know?" Serena shook her head "Ash, you're so dense"

"So, I am guessing we are going?" I asked as if I didn't have a say. Everyone seemed to murmur in agreement so I went with it anyway. I didn't like the idea of Kevin being the host, it made me feel so uneasy.

"Oh stop it Ash" May picked up on my behaviour, alerting Serena.

"Yeah. Me and Kevin are still friends and I hope you can be his friend too. I don't want anything to come between us" She started to play with her fingers, being all nervous.

"Nothing ever will" I reassured her with a smile "I promise" A smile broke on her face, which I was glad for.

"Anyway, lets try and focus on getting through the day with all this annoying gossip" Cilan started up again and everyone just murmured in agreement.

"I think it's a good thing. We kicked some Lumiose City ass and sent them packing" A grin flashed over my face as I put my thumb up "What more could we want?"

"Less hassle?" Cilan questioned, forcing me to sigh.

"You're too stubborn, Cilan buddy" I commented with a laugh.

"I know I am" Cilan admitted casually, shrugging. The bell went at that moment and we all broke off into different lessons. I thought back to the party invite. Was it because of all this recent popularity? I felt like Kevin was being a little suspicious. Maybe I am just being stupid. No, this isn't jealousy, I am just going to find out what he wants.

As soon as our first class had ended, I saw Kevin and rushed over to him.

"Hey! Kevin!" I acted all friendly as I walked up.

"Drop the act" He instantly shot me down, making me feel uneasy "What do you want?"

"Why do we have a sudden invitation to your party and why did you give it to Serena?" I spoke with caution.

"I was only recognizing your popularity and felt the party could improve. Besides, I have art with Serena and texted her about it" Kevin shrugged, turning into the most casual person in the world.

"I think you need to drop the act, what kind of mind games are you playing?" I narrowed my eyes and waited for an answer.

"Erm" Kevin looked at me like an idiot, and kind of awkwardly pointed "Is this jealousy?"

"What?!" I instantly moved back. It wasn't, right?

"I think it is..." Kevin sighed and then leaned in for a whisper "Me and Serena are only friends. Take care of her, alright? Having all these kids talk about you guys may cause a few seniors to crush on the girls"

"Well" I moved back again, rethinking my opinion on Kevin "I am sure nothing will happen to Serena,  but thanks" I offered a hand and Kevin shook it, before giving me a little grin. He then proceeded to head to his next class, so I went in the opposition direction. Kevin didn't seem like such a bad guy, but I had a feeling that this party and everything from here on out was going to cause trouble for everyone, including me and Serena. My idea of a perfect year was sure to go out of the window if I didn't act now.
