if there is one thing I am finding hard, it is trying to include everyone into the book. I just can't keep up with every character, so for that reason this will be a girls only chapter, so enjoy.
For the question: Who is hyped for Ash's next gym battle? I can't wait for the 2v2 battle :D
(Serena)
"Oooh! Look at this dress and- Wow! Those shoes" Dawn squealed excitedly, rushing around the mall. She kept on looking at really expensive clothes and wishing she could get them, her face brighter than the sun.
"You know, we can actually buy some things instead of staring at everything, Dawn" I placed my hands on my hips and stared at her. She eventually turned around
"What?" She said, looking perplexed. I sighed and grabbed her wrist.
"Come on!" I said, rushing along with Dawn being dragged along. I raced down large corridor and saw Iris, Misty and May heading into a different store. I sprinted after them and finally caught up, letting Dawn go.
"There was no need to drag me along" She moaned, with a large frown.
"You wouldn't stop looking at $800 dresses and $100 shoes, Dawn..." I stared at her again with a raised eyebrow and she looked away like a child.
"A girl can dream.."I heard her murmur, before suddenly smiling and rushing around the store we just entered.
"You girls seem to be having fun" Iris pointed out, as I headed over to them.
"She is on a shopping frenzy. Dawn never changes with shopping" I said, shaking my head.
"Well, I just want to go eat some lunch, but these girls just HAD to check out this store" May began to moan. Misty put a hand on May's shoulder and smiled.
"It's ok, we will go now. I didn't want to go here anyway it was just to wind you up" Misty laughed and I looked over to Dawn. She was in a trance again, looking at only the most expensive things. I grabbed her hand and again, dragged her out of the store.
We headed over to the food court to go get some lunch. Of course, Dawn being Dawn, she bought a salad and a bottle of water. Iris and May had the same idea, but I saw a hot dog stand and had to have one. Misty bought the biggest burger she could find and ate it really quickly. We all sat down, throwing random chatter here and there to keep the day alive.
"I think we should head home now" Iris suggested, letting out a small sigh to signify her boredom.
I stretched up and slowly got out of my seat "I agree, I think we should head home. I have homework due for tomorrow anyway"
So we decided to head out of The Mall. On the way out I saw Kevin and his friends. His eyes followed me as I walked right past him. Then, Kevin suddenly grabbed my wrist, startling me.
"I know you know my true intentions. Why not just give up on that loser and give me another chance" Kevin gave me a little smirk and I almost died of cringing. "Whad'ya say?"
"I say get the hell off of me, you freak" I tried to pull off his grip, but it was like a vice on my wrist.
"No can do, sweet cheeks" Kevin went to pull me closer but there was a sudden thud. Kevin was now laying motionless on the ground, a tiny amount of blood pouring from his nose as he lay there. I turned around to see Misty stood over his now unconscious body, her right hand clenched into a fist and red in colour. Kevin's friends immediately attended to him, so we walked off. I managed to calm down a little, after all of the dilemma. It was quite shocking that we even saw Kevin and then he goes and pulls a stunt like that. I actually feel bad for Kevin once the boys and Ash find out.
"You okay, Serena?" Dawn asked me as we continued home.
"I am fine. I didn't even suspect Kevin would-" I exclaimed, still in slight shock.
"He is a loser anyway" Misty cut me off "No one can just grab anyone like that, especially when that someone is one of your best friends"
I looked at Misty with a smile. She would do anything for her friends. For us. Even though she was the tomboy and the violent one, she still done everything with a heart as pure as gold.
"That's what we should all be doing" Iris looked at us all like she was trying to motivate us "Having each-others' backs"
"You're right Iris" May waved a hand nonchalantly. "Men are just pigs looking for attention"
"Well, I wouldn't go that far" We all laughed and May's cheeks went read.
"You know what I mean.." She murmured awkwardly, rubbing her arm in embarrassment.
Each individual person slowly made it home, the group dividing until it was just me. I looked up at Ash's window. His light was on, meaning he was in but I didn't want to disturb him, as he was probably doing the homework I was about to do. I walked a few house down and then entered my house. The silence that greeted me told me that my Mom was at work, so I headed straight to my room.
I sat down and got on with the homework I had to do and it wasn't too long before my Mom came home and prepared dinner.
"Did you have a nice day at The Mall?" She asked as we sat down to eat. I told her about the day and then explained the situation with Kevin.
"He sounds like a bad kid, I would avoid him Serena" She advised me, with a stern look for added seriousness.
I gulped, finding that expression a little frightening, before nodding.
"And Misty? Retaliating?" My Mom seemed a little shocked. "She is such an angel, why would she hurt anyone"
Erm, I think I need to take my Mom with me too school so she would understand. I laughed at the thought of an 'angel Misty'.
"What's so funny?" My Mom asked, with a puzzled look.
"Nothing, Mom" I lied, to keep her from pressing any further.
"After today, it seems you can clearly see how luky you are to have Ash, huh?" My Mom suddenly blurted out.
I nodded, giving her a warm smile as I would with Ash "Yeah..I must be the luckiest girl in the world"
