[Pete's POV]
"Patrick!" I called out once I walked inside my house. "Where are you?" I heard feet thump down the stairs, once the loud noises stopped there stood at the bottom of the staircase, Patrick. "Hey Pete." He said waving, I smiled back and set my stuff onto the sofa I collapsed into a heap.

"Long day?" He asked, I nodded and closed my eyes. He walked over and sat in a chair next to the couch. "Can I ask you something?" He asked me, I opened my eyes and shrugged. "Depends on what the question is I guess." I replied, he nodded and looked lost in thought for a couple seconds.

"Okay, why do you have a room full of dusty old instruments?" He questioned, my eyes grew wide. "You were in my room? The door with the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on it?" I asked shocked, Patrick nodded slowly. "It just looked so mysterious! Plus, I still need an answer to my question." He stated, I sighed with great frustration that had grew inside my body. "I, well I used to play in a band. Yet, we never really played again, because we broke up. I just kinda stopped doing the whole music thing for a while, I need to focus on my teaching anyways. Even if I was a music teacher for most my career as a teacher, I still need to focus on that. My career." I explained to him, he looked perplexed.

"No, come on Pete! Even if the "music thing" is a side project, you should still do it. We could start a band together!" He said extatically, I shook my head. "I don't know Trick, let me think about it." I replied, he nodded. "Just get back to me if you decide to, I really wanna start a band with you. Even if I hate being in front of people with a burning passion." I laughed and he did the same.

"Hey!" I burst out, Patrick spun his head quickly and looked at me. "Let's do something fun." I placed my hand on his thigh, he looked at it, then at me. "What?" He asked, I smiled mysteriously. "You'll see." I grabbed his small hand and pulled him through the living room, then out the front door. We both ran to the car, me pulling Patrick and him carelessly dragging behind as I kept a firm grip of his wrist now.

I pulled my keys out of my pocket and unlocked the car. We both climbed in and I started the engine. I backed us out of my driveway and soon we were driving down the darkly lit streets. The only light source was a dim amber glowing lamp post. We kept driving until we reached a small night club.

We both walked to the front door. A rather large security guard looked down at the two of us, it didn't help were both so short though. "Name?" He asked in a deep gravely voice, I shivered. "Pete Wentz, this is Patrick. He's my plus one." The muscled man checked a clipboard, nodded, and we both walked in. Bright lights and colorful beams darted everywhere in the small enclosed space.

"Pete!" Someone yelled, it was kinda hard to hear since it was so extremely loud in here. The thumping dubstep just made any small, or merely above average, sound be drown out by music.

I turned and saw two of my friends. "Oh hey guys!" I said, it was Alex and Rian. "Hey!" They yelled to me in chorus, they both looked at each other when they realized they did this and smiled. "Who's this?" Rian asked, still trying to be heard over the music, he was talking about Patrick. "Oh, him," I paused thinking of an answer. "This is Patrick, he's my, my, um, friend." Alex nodded and smiled, Rian did the same.

"Cool, nice to meet you Patrick! I'm Alex and this is Rian." Alex said putting an arm around Rian's shoulder. Rian just laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head. Alex removed his arm, but kept smiling at Rian, making him blush completely red. This made Alex laugh.

"Anyways, how've you been Wentz?" Alex asked, taking a small sip of a drink in his right hand. "Good. You?" I replied, Alex nodded. "Been good, not too good or bad, just plain good." I nodded, I know that feels. Sometimes you just feel okay, like not good or bad, just meh.

"So, Patrick!" Rian yelled, Patrick snapped himself out of the trance he had slipped into and looked at Rian face to face. "Yes?" He asked, he was so freaking cute! "How'd you two meet? Like, how'd you meet Pete?" Patrick smiled. "He helped me when I was being bullied at school, he stopped them from beating me up." He replied, Alex and Rian nodded in unision.

"You two would make a great coup-" Alex began, but Rian nudged his arms roughly. "What?" Alex said looking at Rian confused and upset like. Rian whispered something into his friend's ear. Alex's eyes grew wide and he nodded looking at Rian.

"Okay, so, um," I said, it was so awkward! "Wanna dance?" Everyone agreed and we danced until I felt it was a good time to go home. Also, don't worry, Patrick didn't drink any alchohal, yet I had a little. Not enough to get me drunk, like one sip of a drink. I didn't gulp the entire thing down. Just a small sip.

We got home pretty late for a school night, but Patrick was really good with going to bed and I was able to get ready for bed quick.

I climbed into bed in my black and red pjs, yet while I stared at the ceiling, I couldn't stop thinking about what he had said.

Maybe I should make more music?
