A Room With No Doors

I wake to the sound of silence, something I don't hear too often; it seems strange, almost wrong. I sit up and look around, and what do I see? white walls, white floors, no windows, no doors, and no corners. "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!?"

Almost as in response to my question a screen appears out of nowhere, the woman on the screen smiles then starts speaking to me but I'm too weirded out to pay attention. Where is she at? Where am I? All wonderful questions but i'm not sure if i'll ever get the answer. The only thing I hear her say is " do it or you die." Then the screen disappeared.

"Wait... What?" then I start hyperventilating. What I am going to do I don't even know what she said or how to get out of this stupid room. Wait where's my key? It was around my neck last I knew this is bad. This is very, very bad! Next thing I hear is a banging sound and a worried shout.

"Yuka, are you in there? Where could she be."

The voice sounded very worried and familiar... is that Landon? I think it is. I finally found my voice again and this time it was me who spoke. "Landon is that you? Landon I'm in here I need help."

"We'll get you out. Just hold on for a little we'll get you."

"Wait... who is we?" Now I'm confused.

"Hoshi and I of course."

"Hoshi? she's with you? why?"

"Love you too cousin." she replies sarcastically.

"I didn't mean it like that."

"Do you want out or not?" Hoshi asks.

"Is that a trick question?"

"You may not trust me and I don't blame you, but, you need me. I know how to get you out of here and what these people are planning. You can stop them."

"Okay. I'll listen. mainly because I really need to get out of here, I'm freaking out!"
"Just stay calm we almost have it."

"Just keep calm Yuka dear we will be in there soon. Don't panic." This time it was Landon who spoke, I really love to hear his voice. "The more you panic the less likely we are to get you out of here. This room will lock up more secure and get smaller as you panic so just calm down."

I thought I was doomed to die before but now it's a guarantee. Or so I thought...

"Hey Yuka, when is your birthday?" Hoshi asked

"Okay... random... why?" Why would she need to know my birthday?

"Just tell me it." She replies slightly annoyed

"March 26."

" What year again?"

"2099"

"Perfect."

"Why did you-" Before I could finish the sentence a door appeared out of nowhere.

"Wow, that was way too easy to hack into. They really need to bump up security here- Well not when you're here of course."

"Where did you learn to hack into security systems like that?"

"Well I am a spy after all."

"You too?!? How many people near me are spies, seriously?"

"A lot apparently."

"If you too are done catching up, we need to get going. Who knows how long it is until they find out you escaped, they could already know." By now he was frantically looking for a good escape route. We started running to the way that we thought was out just to realize that it was all just a projection. causing us all to smack straight into a wall.

"Ouch!" I say rubbing my head. "I did not see that coming. Which way did you two come from? You would have had to get here somehow. Maybe we can exit that way."

"This was the way we came from, I don't know what happened but now it's blocked off. I'm afraid they knew we were coming to rescue you." Landon said in disappointment as he sat on the ground and put his head on his knees.

"This can't be it, there must be another way out that we aren't seeing." Hoshi looked around the room looking for the slightest clue on a way out. "Wait I think I see it!" She they proceeds to run over and rip a tapestry off of the wall. (Why was there a tapestry?) "Here it is! Now come on before they close this one too."

Do you ever get that feeling that someone is toying with you? making something seem way too easy than it should have been. I feel that way right now. That exit was way easy to find... Well it's probably just me being a bit paranoid but I feel like someone is following us. Oh well, It's probably just my imagination.
