"Ha ha, this is spot on. He was so right about you."
"What does it say Miki?" Landon and I ask in unison. (seriously we need to stop doing that.)
"Well you have a tendency to get yourself in trouble a lot and you grandfather mentioned that in this. Oh! Your grandfather wrote this by the way."
"What else does it say? please tell me, I need to know."
" Well it basically is warning you that you are in great danger, people are going to try and kill you but by doing that they'll lose the key. Whatever that means."
"This is terrible. It is basically telling me that I will never be safe and that I Landon and I won't be able to stay together."
"Where did it say that?!?"
"It implied it when it said that I would always be in danger, it's not safe to be around me. I don't want you to get hurt." I say as I'm about to begin crying.
"Well too bad then because even if it's dangerous to be around you, you can't get rid of me. Well not so easily anyways."
"Awwwww... That is so cute. So how long have you two been dating anyways?"
"About a year, maybe more." We say as both of us end up blushing from embarrassment.
"Wow. Oh, and do you two always talk in unison?"
"Not always." We answer at the same time.
"Suuuuure you don't."
"Well we need to get going. Thank you so much for helping us. Oh, do you know how to get to Resembool from here?"
"Do you need this map? it's torn but if you need it you can take it."
"Really?!? Thank you so much."
"Oh and as you are about to enter town you have to go over a barbed wire fence so be careful. It'll hurt if you're not careful, trust me."
"Thanks again."
"I wouldn't leave right now if I were you though..."
"Why not?" We ask in unison (once again)
"Well it's kinda 1 Am right now so it's really dark and you can just wait till morning if you'd like, plus you're probably both really tired from your journey here."
"You wouldn't mind?" I ask really shocked.
"Why of course. You are my guest so why not? It will really help you two to get some rest before you go there because not everyone there is the nicest, ya know."
"We'll take your word for it Miki. And thank you for all of you help." Landon replies, he is always so polite, I guess that's one thing I really like about him.
... *Yawns* "It's morning already?" I ask still very sleepy.
"Yup and I've made breakfast for you two sleepy heads so you can get an early start on the day."
"You didn't have to do that." I say
"But I wanted to. It's been awhile since I've cooked for anyone except the boys so it's nice to have a little change."
"Thank you so much. And where did Landon go? Wasn't he just here a minute ago?"
"Katsu took him outside to show him some of his favorite places. They should be back soon."
"So how old is Katsu? He looks young but acts very mature so I'm having a hard time putting an age on him."
"He is 10 years old but is very small for his age. He acts as though he were 15 at times despite his actual age."
