New Transfer

Gray POV

*beep* *beep* *beep* went my alarm clock. I sat up and groaned, "another day of school...." I got up, took a shower, and got dressed.

Our uniform consisted of navy blue pants, a white short sleeved dress shirt, and a navy blue tie. (For the boys)

After I ate breakfast I grabbed my school bag and headed out the door.

I lived in an apartment a few blocks away from the school.

When I got to the front gate I saw my best friend, Natsu, arguing with his girlfriend Lisanna.

"Fine! I'll leave then!" She yelled.

"Go ahead! I never liked you anyways!" Natsu yelled turning his back to her as she walked off angrily in the opposite direction.

I walked up to him saying, "you still not getting along with her?"

He looked over to me with surprise, "you heard that? I-I thought she would of forgotten about it over the summer.....but it seems not."

"You wanna go shoot some hoops to get your mind off it?"

"Sure."

We headed off to the gym before school started. (Lots of students go to school early if they have something to do)

I got changed and walked out onto the court. Natsu was trying to make the baskets but was missing every one.

"Man! This is really putting you down!" I said making a basket. "
"*sigh* I-it's not that....it's just I'm a little confused about who.....oh never mind!" Natsu said crossing his arms.

"Oh! I see!..." *shoots a hoop* "you like another girl!" I smirked.

Natsu blushed.

"Wait...what?! I was just making that up! Who is it?! Is it that new girl from last year Lucy?" I said with excitement.

Natsu blushed even more!

"Oooooohhhhhh ur gonna get it when Leo hears about this!"

"Y-you can't tell him!! You know he has a crush on her! A-and he would kill me if I started dating her!!" He put his hands together, begging.

"What's this? Mr. Top Notch begging Top Notch Jr.? What a surprise! Hmmmm if u play a game with me, Sting, Rouge, and Gajeel then I won't tell!"

"Urg! Alright! You win! Just please don't tell!!!"

"Well actually....." I started but Natsu cut me off

"I-I'm gonna go take a shower now!!" He yelled as he ran to the locker room.

"Ok I'll keep shooting baskets!" I yelled back.

I shot the basket ball from half court and it was gonna make it in if someone didn't intercept it. Someone with a dark grey hoodie and workout shorts came and grabbed the ball as it was going words the net.

I couldn't see their face but I yelled "hey!! What was that for?! It was going in!!" I lifted my hands up in the air.

The person stood at the 3 point line and threw it backwards. It made it in the hoop no rim, no hoop, nothing! A perfect tear drop.

All I could do was stand there in shock. How can someone shorter than me make a basket from further back than half court?!?! I thought to myself.

They left me there standing in shock as they went into the bathroom.

I decided to go get changed. I walked into the locker room and saw Natsu leaving. S-should I tell him what just happened? I decided not to so I took a shower and got ready for school.

When the bell rang I went to my first class. History. So boring! Especially because our teacher is Goldmine! He's so serious all the time!!! It soooo boring!

Gold mine came up to the front of the room, "to day we have a new student! I know she's a week late but that's ok."

At that a girl with purple hair, blue eyes, a white button shirt with a navy blue collar, red tie, tall navy blue socks, and penny loafers walked into the room and stood next to Goldmine. She also had a small braid down the right side of her head.

She also wasn't smiling which was odd. Usually every new girl smiled upon first introduction. Even Lucy smiled.

"I'm Ziri Clauden." She said, still without smiling.

Goldmine told her to sit in an empty seat. There were 2 one next to me and one next to the school wide known 'play boy' Leo. (Loke) She started to walk over to Leo but he smirked at her and she headed over to the seat next to me. Guess she doesn't like play boys! I thought.
