Lucy POV

*buzz* *buzz* *buzz* I reached over the covers to turn off my alarm clock. I groaned as I got out of bed and got ready for the day.

I'm excited for the upcoming field trip! I can't wait to spend more time with Levy and Erza!

A yell from downstairs was heard. "Lucy! Come on! Your gonna be late for school!"

I looked at my clock after while brushing my hair.

It's only 6:12 and it takes us less than 5 minutes to get to school in the limo, we don't have to get there every day at 7:15! I thought as I finished putting up hair in a high ponytail.

I got dressed in my uniform and ate breakfast. By the time I was done it was 6:55.

I gathered my books and bags and headed for the door. On my way out I said, "I'm going to be going out now dad. I will see you at 6:00 sharp. I have to work on a project after school."

He looked up from his newspaper and said, "Alright dear, just not hanging out with boys!"

"I won't dad." I departed to our limo. My maid Virgo was waiting for me.

"May i take your bags princess?"

"No that's alright Virgo I've got them" I replied with a smile.

"Alright princess! Shall we get going now?"

"Yes, and drop me off in the front today."

"Will do princess."

When we got to the school it was 7:05. A bit early but I liked to be early. I stepped out of the car and headed up the front stairs.

I couldn't really see where I was going and I tripped. I fell on the stairs and all of my papers went everywhere!

"Oh no!" I said as I bent down to pick them up.

As I was reaching for a paper another hand landed on top of mine. I looked to the source and saw spiky pink hair.

"N-Natsu? When do you ever get to school this early?" I asked as he handed me the papers he picked up.

"Oh I actually get here around 6:50 to 7:00 to play basketball in the gym with Gray and some other guys. Sometimes it's just me and him. But now Ziri is a regular.." He said scratching the back of his head.

"Oh yea that new girl Ziri! I think her and Gray would be cute together...don't you?"

"Hm? Oh I've tried to get Gray to confess that he likes her but he won't do it...I've even tried to as Ziri if she thinks he likes her but there's no way to get her opinion of the matter......" A long moment went by... "How about you try to get Ziri to confess and I'll try to get Gray! Then we can hook them up on the field trip!!"

"*gasp* that's a great idea! I'll get Mira to help me!"

"Just don't bring Erza into this..."

"Just because she's your s-" I was cut off when Natsu's hand covered my mouth.

"N-no one needs to know that!" He yelled.

"Alright alright! My lips are sealed. Well I've got to go Levy is waiting for me in the library."

I walked inside as I waved goodbye to Natsu.

When I got to the library Levy was waiting for me outside. "We're were you?! I was beginning to worry that you were sick!"

"Oh I just had a GrayZi talk with Natsu..."

"Wait...you spoke with Natsu about GrayZi?!"

"Yea! We made a plan to try to hook them up! Well sorta..."

"Oh my gosh! Tell me everything!!"

"Oh alright.."

I told Levy everything that happened from when I tripped to when I waved goodbye. She was equally surprise that Natsu gets here this early in the morning as I was.

Time skip!

During Lunch I sat next to Ziri to try to get some information out of her.

"So Ziri! I've heard you like to play basketball..." I said sitting next to her.

"Yea...I never see you on the court so what do you care?" She replied coldly.

She's more like an Ice princess! I thought to myself. "Um well I bumped into Natau this morning and he said you were in the gym playing basketball every morning...what do you like about the people you play with?"

She hesitated to answer but she eventually said, "well...Natsu is fast I'll give him that...-"

I cut her off. "No I mean a certain person...one with spiky raven hair?" I asked slowly.

"Ugh! Gray...doesn't have very good offense but he does have good defense! Like he pushes me to my limits when I'm playing one on one with him and I have the ball. But Natsu is the opposite. He's the good offender and he pushes me to my defense limits! Which is squally as fun." She said the last part quicker.

The bell rang and she slipped away before I could ask her anymore questions.

And I don't have history with her so we can't talk them... I hope Natsu's having better  luck than me! I thought.

Time skip

After school I headed over to the gym. Levy accompanying me.

When we entered we sat on the bleachers to wait until the game was over. Natsu preformed adequately! And Gray was a good defender and Natsu was also a good offender! Wow Ziri was right! I never would of noticed before! I thought.

When they finished I walked up to Natsu and he smiled back at me pulling me away from the rest of the guys.

"So what did you find out?" He whispered.

"Nothing. She's as tick as a brick! I couldn't get anything out of her! What about you?" I said to Natsu.

"Yea, I didn't get much but I definitely know he likes her...every time I he talks to her he scratches the back of his head switch means he's embarrassed. And I got him to talk about her a little and he blushed."

"Well just have to rely off of Gray unless we can get another person who knows her better to get is information."

Gray came over with Ziri and said "hey! What are you two love birds talking about over here?"

"I-it's not like that!" I defended.

"Why you have to be like that Gray?!" Natsu said while turning red in the checks.

"Well it did look like you were being lovey dovey." Ziri commented.

"It's not like that at all!!!" I yelled.

"Are you sure?" Asked Lumi with a smirk.

I looked at Natsu because he became quiet all of a sudden. He was wide eyed and staring at Lumi.

Ziri noticed and grabbed the collar of Natsu's shirt and said in a scary voice, "What are you looking at Natsu Dragneel?" She said his name slowly and death shines in her eyes. It made me shiver.

"O-o-oh! Hehe...I-I-I w-wasn't l-l-looking a-at anyth-thi-ing!!!" He was now covered in sweat.

She released him and left Gray quickly followed after her and Lumi started to leave but Natsu grabbed her shoulder and made her look at him. "We have some questions to ask you."

CLIFFHANGER!!!!! Ik ik ik! Your probably like 'NUUUUUUUUUU DONT END IT THERE!!!!' And this chapter has 1223 words so it took my a while to write it. So! I have some good news :D my mom got her phone fixed!!!! Which means I just need her to change the password and I'm all set! Yaaaaaaay! Which means it will be easier to publish! Yaaaaaaay! That is all Sno-flakes!
