Little Sister

Ziri POV

As I walked out of the gym locker room I saw the empty court. I imagine a game going on from a long time ago. 2 different teams heading at it. As fast as a lightning bolt. But one stood out in particular, a certain orange headed 18 year old boy. He ran up the court dodged every obstacle there was and made the game point with a dunk with a jump from 3 point line. That, that was who I wanted to be. Someone who made sports history. His name? It was Sirus, Sirus Clauden.

The image faded away as all the players jumped up and down with my dad holding the 1st place trophy.

I walked out of the building and headed over to the library.

When I got there I saw a girl at about the age of 14 sitting at the table reading.

"What are you reading this time?" I asked putting my school bag on my shoulder.

She looked up and smiled. Her smile was so cute! But I never even tried to smile back. "Ziri! Were you in the gym again?" She said Putin her things away.

I sighed, "yes Lumi. I'm always go to the gym every day. And when I get home and we both finish our homework then we can go to the local gym and practice."

"Yaaay!" She yelled.

"SSSHHHHHT!!!!" Yelled the librarian.

"Sorry!" We both whispered as we walked out of the library.

When we were outside I walked over to our light blue and purple sports car and got in. Lumi got in and I drove us home.

"Starting next week we'll be walking to school." I said looking at the road.

"Aww! But we live like 5 miles away from the school!" She complained.

"We've walked 10 miles to school before. So don't complain."

We arrived at the house so I parked the car and got out. "I expect you to do you homework when we get inside." I grabbed my bags and headed inside with Lumi.

"Ugh! Fine! But if I need help I'm gonna ask you! And you have to help me!" She crossed her arms as we walked through the door.

"Alright!" I said without complaints.

"Oh good your home! I thought you would be going to the gym after school!" Said Ms. Bituni our maid.

"Yea were gonna go to the gym after we do our homework. Um ms. Bituni? Do we have a table set up yet?" I asked pulling out my phone to check the time.

"Um yes I do believe so. In the living room we have a small table set up. We are still unpacking the new items that have just arrived." She said with a smile.

"Thank you!" Lumi said walking to the living room with me.

We sat down and began to do our homework. I finished all of my homework quickly, but Lumi was still stuck on math.

"Um...Ziri....can you help me with this? I just don't get it." She said pointing to the paper.

"Ok. Let's see here," I examined the problems and solved them in my head quickly. Math was my favorite subject because I was really good at it. "so what is the square root of 4?"

"2."

"Yes, now what's the square root of 81?"

"9."

"What is 2 times 9?"

"18?"

"Write it down."

"But I don't get this one either!"

I helped her with her math until the entire page was answered. "That took a while. You ready to head over to the gym?" I asked.
