Chapter 22

4 days later

I walk downstairs and smell Dean cooking bacon and pancakes.

"I smell something delicious." I sing as I walk into the kitchen. "You should. I'm making bacon and pancakes." He smirks.

I smile and sit at the table. He places a plate of bacon and pancakes in front of me and I start eating.

"Mhmm. This is so good." I say with a smile. As you can tell, I've changed. Liz doesn't like it but she has to deal with it.

"So, I was wondering-"

"Should I be worried." I ask him. He laughs and shakes his head. "No. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the lake with me today. But only if you want to. And before we go to the lake we need to go to the hospital so the doctor can check to see if the baby will me healthy." Dean says not wanting to pressure me into anything.

"Yeah. I'll go. I need to get out more anyways." I smile and take another bite out of a delicious piece of bacon.

"Ok then. We leave at 3:00 pm sharp." Dean smirks and walks out of the kitchen.

I waddle back upstairs, since I have a stomach the size of a Jupiter, and walk into Dean and i's room.

I take a quick shower and dress into an ugly old lady dress since my regular clothes don't fit me.

I put on my slip on shoes and waddle back downstairs where Dean is waiting. "Took you long enough." He smirks.

I roll my eyes at him and walk out the door and towards the hospital with Dean following close behind me.

When we get to the hospital, I walk into an open room and sit on the bed thingy.

Dean sits in a chair besides it and holds my hand.

Not soon after a nurse walks in. "Hi, Rachel." She greets with a warm smile. "Hi." I reply. "How are you feeling?" She asks me.

"I feel great." I say smiling. "Alright. Well, would you like to see the baby? On the monitor of course." She laughs. I nod my head "yeah."

She lifts up the shirt I'm wearing and rubs some gooey stuff on it. She looks at the monitor and smiles.

"Looks like the doctor lied to you, Rachel." She smirks looking over at me. "What do you mean?" I ask her trying to look at the monitor.

"You're having twins. A boy and a girl." She smiles at me. "Oh." I giggle. I look over at Dean. "This is great!" Dean smiles and kisses me.

I nod my head and smile. Twins.

I'm having twins.

I smile at the woman but she isn't smiling anymore. In fact, she's frowning.

"What is it?" I ask her. She looks at me with scared eyes and shakes her head. "N-nothing. You're good to go." She mumbles and walks out of the room.

I look at Dean and he has the same expression as me.

Confusion.

As Dean and I walk to the lake side by side I think of baby names.

"So, the babies will be here soon." Dean smiles breaking my train of thought. I nod my head "yeah." I say and rub my stomach.

"What should we name them?" Dean asks. We haven't chosen a name yet but I had a few in mind.

"I was thinking we should name the boy Josh or Kevin or Ryder. But if you don-"

"I love the names. But I agree with Josh and Ryder. The name Kevin doesn't have my interest." Dean chuckles and wraps an arm around me.

"And for the girl I was thinking of Violet or Jessica. Maybe Selena." I shrug. "I love all of them, babe."

When we get to the lake I see that Dean has a picnic set up. "Aw. Dean this is amazing." I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Yeah. Just a little something." He smiles at me. I nod my head and look around.

I take a deep breath of air and sit on the blanket. Dean sits across from me and hands me a sandwich.

I start eating and Dean and I start talking. We talk about life and what things will be like with the babies coming.

I'm just so excited that I'm gonna be having twins!! But kinda sad at the same time that they aren't Dean's children too.

At home, I sit on Dean and i's bed and rub my stomach. A few seconds later Dean sits next to me and smiles.

I smile when I feel one of the babies kick. "I felt a kick." I smile and look at Dean. He smiles back and kisses me.

"I love you." He smiles. "I-I love- AHH!" I shout when I feel pain. "What? Rachel are you ok?!" Dean shouts as I cry in pain.

"T-the babies are coming."

Deans eyes grow wide and he picks me up in his arms. He carries me downstairs and into the car.

He drives me to the pack hospital and mind links the doctor. Seconds later more than 5 doctors rush out and help me out of the car.

Dean carries me to the emergency room and the pain begins.

After many hours in labor, the babies finally come out. I smile as the doctor places them in my arms.

I cry tears of joy and Dean smiles at me. "Hi babies." I whisper to my new children.

"Hi..."

I look at Dean and he smirks. "Welcome to the world, Josh and Selena." Dean smiles. I smile and play with my little bundles of joy.
