The Mate That Couldn't Love

Chapter 21

"Careful." I tell Dean. He just got out of the hospital and now we are stepping through the front door.

"Are you sure you wanna go? You could get hurt or you could die! Think about the baby." Dean tells me.

I'm going with Jay and Arianna and a few of the Warriors from the Killer Moon pack to take back the blue moon pack.

"Stop worrying Dean. I'll be fine. I'm always fine." I tell him and plant a kiss on his forehead. He sighs and mumbles an ok.

"I'll see you soon." I smile and walk out of the house.

I meet Jay and Ari at the training grounds. "Finally." Jay sighs when he sees me. I roll my eyes and stand in front of them. "You ready?" I ask them.

They nod their heads and we grab our weapons. "Luna, we suggest you use this." One of the Warriors tell me. "Thank you." I tell him and take the gun that's loaded with silver bullets.

I feel badass.

"You look badass, Rachel." Jay says walking up from behind me. Yessss! "I know." I say and turn to face him. "Not as much as your girlfriend." I tell him seeing Ari behind him.

Jay turns around and his eyes go wide when he sees Ari. Her red hair is tied up in a pony tail and she's wearing all black with knives in pockets that are attached to we legs and silver bullet guns.

She does look badass.

But I look better.

"Let's go!" I shout and start running towards the Blue Moon Pack.

Once we cross the boarders and into the Blue Moon pack rouges start running towards us.

I throw a hunting knife at one of the rouges, hitting it in the head. it collapses into the ground and another wolf comes towards me.

It jumps in the air and I kick it in the stomach. It flies backwards and I speed towards it.

I grab my knife an stab it into its chest. It goes numb and I hear one of the rouges howl into the sky.

Probably his/her mate.

To end the rouges pain, I super speed towards it and slit its throat.

I see one of the rouges attack Ari and without hesitation I run towards them and use my vampire speed to pull out my gun and shoot the rouge in the head.

Jay runs over to us and helps Arianna. I start running towards the alpha an Luna house and burst through the doors.

I hear the Luna scream and rush towards the door. "W-who are you?" She asks looking very freaked out.

I point the gun at her and she looks at me with scarred and worried eyes. Realization crosses her face and she whispers my name.

"Rachel. You're Rachel Scott. Y-You killed Daniel Addams. You killed my mate's brother." She says pointing her index finger at me.

I slowly walk towards her and press the gun to her forehead. "Where is your mate?" I ask her in a low voice.

I feel strong presence and then I feel pain. I'm flung across the room by the alpha.

I rub my head and I stand up. I grab the gun and point it at the alpha. No mercy. I think to myself as I pull the trigger.

The girl screams as her mate's body falls to the floor. Dead. I point the gun at her and pull the trigger.

I walk out of the house and towards the place where I left Jay and Arianna. When I get there I shout "alpha and Luna is dead. The pack belongs to you know." Then I start walking back towards my house.

But before I get far I feel a very painful pain in my stomach. I scream and pain as I fall onto the floor and hold my stomach.

I lay down and roll onto my side as I wrap my arms around my stomach. "Rachel! Rachel!" I hear my name wing called but I can't speak.

"Get her to the hospital!" I hear orders being shouted as I lie there in pain. I'm listed into the air and rushed through the hospitals doors.

I wake up in the hospital bed. The doctor walks in and smiles. "How are you feeling, Rachel?" He asks me.

"I feel alright." I mumble. "Oh, well, the movements you made today was too much for the baby. You could've killed it. Also, when was the last time you ate?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"Umm...I don't know about 3 days Or more." I say looking up at him. "That's another thing, the child was hungry, and since it's half vampire, it started to drink the blood around it. It could've killed you." He says writing words on his paper.

"H-how long have I been asleep for?" I ask him. "A few days." He mumbles. "Oh." I whisper and look down at my hands.

"I also have good news." He smiles. "I could really use some good news." I giggle. "Would you like to know the gender of your child? It's actually growing very fast so you'll have a belly the size of a watermelon in about 3 days." He smiles.

"Oh. Well, yeah. What is it?" I Ask him smiling. "It's a boy." He smiles at me. I smile and tears form into my eyes.

It's a boy.
