The Mate That Couldn't Love

Chapter 19

Jay's P.O.V

"ROUGES!" I hear someone from outside the pack house shout. Oh no.

Is Rachel ok?

"Arianna! Go to the bunker now!" I shout. I hear her come downstairs and stop. I turn around and see her worried eyes.

"I'll be back I promise. Now go." I tell her. She smiles and runs out the Blackfoot to the bunker.

I take a deep breath and run outside.

Dean we need help here. Rouges are attacking and they're winning!

I mind link Dean for help. Hopefully he'll come.

All my worriers are down except about 20 of them. I shift into my brown wolf and start fighting.

I bite into the neck of a grey wolf and it whimpers. I sink m teeth deeper into its neck until it goes numb. It's eyes slowly close and I drop it to the ground.

I look around and see a big black alpha wolf run into the fight. He starts attacking rouges and I can tell it's Dean.

I'm tackled to the ground by another brown wolf and we start rolling around in the dirt. I get on top of it and scratch it's sides and bite it's neck.

I look around again and see everyone lying dead on the floor. Ari? Are you alright? I mind link Ari to make sure she's ok.

I can't let anything happen to her. Jay? Yeah. I'm fine. I'm in the woods. The bunker was attacked and I ran away as fast as I could. There's a lot of dead wolves from our pack, Jay. I'm scarred. Great. She's ok. But the dead wolves part is terrible.

I see Dean lying on the floor and I run to help him. Dean?! Bro wake up! I mind link him.

"I'll take him." I hear the pack doctor say from behind me. I turn around and see Rosa. I shift into human form and put on a pair of basketball shorts. "Rosa? You're alive." I smile and hug her. "I'm fine, Jay. But the pack isn't. The rouges took over our territory and calling it theirs. The alpha and beta are dead and...we have no alpha." She says. I sigh and rub my head.

This is terrible. I think to myself. "Jay, he's losing a lot of blood. If you want him saved we need to take him to his pack." She says. I nod my head and pick him up.

I work out a lot so his weight isn't really anything to me.

We get to his pack house and barge in. "Where's the pack doctor!" I shout. "Right here." A lady says walking out of a room crying her hands on a towel. "What happened?" She asks as I set him down. "Rouge attack." I answer. She nods her head and stars giving orders.

"I need to go find Arianna. I'll come back soon." I tell Rosa and leave the house.

I walk through the woods looking for Arianna. Where could she be? I shift and start running around.

I sniff the air and smell Arianna's scent. Arianna?! Where are you? I mind link her. Sleeping you idiot! Are you coming for me? She asks. I can't help but laugh a little. Never wake up Arianna. She'll hate you all day.

Yeah. I smell you but I don't see you? I say and she goes quiet. No answer. I'm about to mind link her again when I feel something land on my back and scream.

I turn my head and see a laughing Arianna. I roll my eyes and start walking back to the pack house where Dean is.

Me and Arianna hear an explosion and in the distance we see smoke. Rachel? Only Rachel will cause an explosion like that.

Rachel's P.O.V

Am I dead?

Is this what death is?

Darkness?

I open my eyes and I see trees. I laugh at myself. "You were sleeping you idiot." I tell myself laughing.

I stand up and I'm all sore. Ugh! I hate this! "Rachel?" I turn around and see Jay and Arianna. I smile and run and attack them in a bear hug.

"I missed you guys." I smile. "We missed you too." Arianna says. "Where are we?" I ask.

"In the woods. Our pack was attacked last night by rouges. They took over. Dean tried to help but failed and now he's at the pack hospital. He was really messed up." Arianna answers since Jay is in wolf form.

"Is he ok?!" I ask them raising an eyebrow. "We don't know. We're headed over there right now though so you should come." Ari smiles and pulls me onto Jay.

"Let's go then." I smile. Jay starts walking again and he's moving really slow, like a turtle.

I've been very busy with my dance classes and drama club. That's right...I dance and act and sometimes sing.

There's also another story called My Stupid Mate. That one will be sorta funny based on what kind of humor you have. There's a lot of sass and sarcastic comments.
