Dean and I walk towards the ball hand in hand. He says only Alphas and their mates and beta's and their mates from different packs are allowed.

Some of the people there are unmated. Which I think is sad. Before we walk in Dean stops and turns me to face him.

"Before we go in I just want to say that I love you." Then he kisses me. I (for some reason) hesitate before kissing back.

When we release he looks into my blue eyes and smiles. He takes my hand and we walk in side by side.

Everyone looks at us and smiles. We walk down the middle of everyone and people get out of our way. I smile at their movements.

I feel like a queen or a princess.

We stop and turn around. Dean bows and so do I. Everyone cheers and we sit in very comfortable chairs. I just want to moan because of how comfortable they are.

I notice some unmated males drooling over me. I smile and wave. Some wave back and some smile.

Dean growls at them and they go their separate ways. Dean holds my hand and I smile at him.

"Wanna dance?" He asks me. I nod my head and we get up and walk to the dance floor.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he puts his around my waist. I look up into his brown eyes and just...usually mates fall in love with their mate all over again but not me. Why?

Liz? Why don't we fully love our mate like everyone else? I ask Liz. Because. You were raised in an environment that taught you not to love.

That answer makes me wonder if I really do want to remember my past? Will I like what I remember?

"Rachel?" Dean smiles.

He suddenly stands up on a chair and everyone looks at him. "I'd like to thank you all for coming-"

He planned this?!

"I want go introduce you to my beautiful mate, Rachel. I met her a few days ago in the middle of the day. Once I looks into her eyes I knew she'd be an amazing Luna. She also has an amazing talent and if it's ok with her, we'd like to show you." He turns and looks at me.

Wanna play the piano over there? He mind links me. I look to my right and see a beautiful piano. It's black and like the one in the music room. When I heard you playing it I just had to share your talent.

I slowly turn around and walk towards the piano. I sit on the bench and close my eyes. I take a deep breath before playing a song.

Liz guides me this time. She helps me play a song that I haven't heard. Or so I thought.

The song sounds so familiar, yet I've never heard it before. Sing the song. Follow your heart. Liz tells me.

But I don't know this song?

Trust me.

I smile and open my mouth. Words begin to come out of my mouth and Its a song. I don't know this song but I'm singing it.

Are you doing this? I ask Liz. Shh. Just close your eyes and follow me. She replies. I do as she says and continue to sing the song.

"He said, "Let's get out of this town,
Drive out of the city, away from the crowds."
I thought heaven can't help me now.
Nothing lasts forever, but this is gonna take me down."

I open my eyes and look around. Everyone stands in awe and Dean looks, astonished. As I sing the next part I make eye contact with Dean.

"He's so tall and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well
I can see the end as it begins
My one condition is"

"Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress,
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, oh, ah, wildest dreams, oh, ah."

"I said, "No one has to know what we do,"
His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room
And his voice is a familiar sound,
Nothing lasts forever but this is getting
good now."

I make eye contact with Dean again.

"He's so tall and handsome as hell
He's so bad but he does it so well
And when we've had our very last kiss
My last request is

Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress,
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, oh, ah, wildest dreams, oh, ah.

You see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burning it down
Someday when you leave me
I bet these memories
Follow you around

You'll see me in hindsight
Tangled up with you all night
Burning it down
Someday when you leave me
I bet these memories
Follow you around

Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress,
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just pretend

Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress,
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, oh, ah, in your wildest dreams, oh, ah
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, oh, ah, in your wildest dreams, ah, ah."

As I finish the song everyone cheers for me. A big smile appears on my face but then It all happens so fast...

"Jay! Wait for me!" I shout running after the boy with the blonde hair. "Rachel you're so slow!" He shouts back after me. "No I'm not!" I shout back.

We stop running at a field with flowers in the middle of the woods.

He lays down and I lay next to him. "Too bad you have to go." He whispers. "I know. I do t wanna leave you Jay." I cry.

We hug each other and just lay there in each other's embrace.

The flashback ends and I look up to see everyone still cheering and smiling.

Who was that? I ask Liz. That was our friend Jay. He's still at the Blue Moon pack.

Maybe he can help me remember?

Do you think he can help me remember everything? I ask Liz. Maybe. But no promises.

I bow to the crowed and thank them. I walk back to Dean and he hugs me. "You were amazing, Rachel." He smiles and kisses me.

We dance and talk to other alphas for a while until we leave. We were only there for about 3 hours so the sun is barley setting.

We walk to a cliff (the same one I ran away to) and sit on the edge. We watch the sun set as we sit in silence.

"Dean?" I've decided to tell Dean about Jay and everything. Hopefully he takes it well. Probably not. Liz says.

"Yeah?" Dean looks over at me and smiles. "Umm..." I look away not wanting to look him in the eyes.

It's not like you're breaking up with him.

I might have to, Liz.

What do you mean? She asks. What if my past ruins the future? What if he doesn't like me anymore?

"Rachel? What is it?" Dean asks quietly. I look up at him for a second then look away again.

"After I payed the piano and sang that song...it brought back a memory and Liz says that he was an old friend and I want to visit him. Maybe he can help me with my memory?" I say looking up at Dean with hopeful eyes.

"Yeah sure. If you really think he can help you then I'm in. But I'm coming with you." He smiles and wraps an arm around me.

He starts to lean in and our lips connect.

This time...I didn't hesitate and I actually liked the kiss.
