Chapter 4 Helen's P.O.V

I don't know how long it had been but it felt like years, I missed my little KaiLeigh so very much. The Alpha comes down every day to rub it in my face; surprisingly he kept up his end. Every other day I showered and was feed three times a day, but I was forced to live without my precious daughter. Minutes felt like hours, hours felt like days, days felt like weeks, and weeks felt like years. I was losing my sanity without her, she the only reason why I got out of bed every day since he died, now that she's not here all that pain came back a hundred times more powerful. I heard footsteps approaching and knew that is was from him, I looked up and there he was with a cruel smirk in place.

"How's your day Helen" he said smugly while looking down at me on the floor.

"My day was great, I found my mate today looks like you killed your daughter for nothing" he said with evil in his voice. He found his mate, he found his fucking mate, I found myself shaking in anger all this was for nothing. I found the anger replaced with sorrow, I would never see her again and for what, nothing.

"You should have just handed her over to me, I would have given her back now that I have my wonderful mate by my side" he said loving the way how everything turned out. All for nothing, all for nothing. I reseeded into myself and knew I would never come out, I just wanted to die.

" I do have to say I am loving the way this turned out, if you would have given her to me three days later she would have been right back to you" his booming laughter filled the basement.

"Well I am going to go enjoy this beautiful day with my beautiful mate, same time tomorrow he said as he walked away. I was left with my thoughts, at least she was safe and he didn't know that she was alive had he; he would have thrown that into my face as well. I could only hope that she would grow up and find her mate and have a family. I lie down and let the blackness take me, as I was about to succumb I felt my wolf stir as she spoke to me.

"Have faith, she coming to get us, she'll be here soon. And don't worry everything will be okay" she reassured me. KaiLeigh that's smart amazing little girl, I vowed to make sure i would be okay when she got here, how every long it takes.
