Everywhere I look, there are sick heads and sad hearts
And the hardest part
Is watching from the sidelines
Not knowing whether they hurt or if I can help
All of them hide it so wellWas I stuck so carelessly in this quarantine? The only one who has seemed to survive
The strife that is thrust onto us in this life?
These scars are old and my hopes are new
So here I am stuck
Stuck looking at their swollen eyes that look to me
Is it hate?
Is it envy?
So, here I must stay
And feel useless for another day
