If You Got Caught In The Rain [Iwatobi Boys]

Haru

Stormy grey clouds swirled threateningly over your head as you walked home, your boyfriend Haruka by your side.
"Haru, did you bring an umbrella?" you questioned, gazing up at the sky.
He shakes his head, looking at the sky as well. "I don't mind getting wet."
You sighed. "Of course you don't. You're a swimmer."
As soon as those words left your mouth, a rumble of thunder sounded overhead, and in a matter of seconds, it was pouring.
"Haru, let's go!" you shouted over the pounding of the rain on the pavement, putting your backpack over your head, running through the storm.
When you didn't hear anything behind you, you stopped, glancing behind you.
Your boyfriend was laying in a puddle, his eyes closed at the rain poured on his face.
"Haru, what are you doing?" you complained, gazing down at the hopeless swimmer.
"I'm making a water angel."
A sweat drop rolled down the back of your head as you sighed.
"Get up Haru, or you'll get struck by lightning!"
By the time you two got home, the storm had quieted down, but you both were soaked to the bone.
Haru didn't mind, however, as he climbed into the bathtub, soaking in a bath for over an hour afterward.
"What am I going to do with you," you mumbled, smiling as you dried your hair.

Makoto

"(Name)-chan, let's hurry, I don't want you to get soaked."
Makoto started to walk faster down the street and you followed, not wanting to get caught in the thunderstorm that was brewing over your head.
You two were walking home from school on a Friday afternoon, and the heavens looked as if it would open at any second.
A crackle of thunder sounded, and as if someone had put a hose over the two you, it started pouring.
"Makoto!" you cried, shivering as the icy rain soaked through your blouse.
"Hold on," Makoto grabbed your hand, sprinting to his house, which was not too far away.
Once you got inside, the storm seemed to only get worse as you two walked upstairs.
"My parents must be out with Ren and Ran," he noted the empty, dark house. "Do you want to take a shower?"
"Hai, arigatō." You thanked your boyfriend for his kindness as you stepped into the bathroom, turning on the shower.
After you were finished, you stepped out and found a pair of his shorts and a T-shirt, as your lips tugged into a smile.
You slipped on the oversize clothing, smiling at the scent of his cologne combined with a hint of chlorine.
As you walked downstairs, Makoto smiled at you, holding out a bowl of popcorn.
"What movie did you pick?" you questioned, cuddling against his chest.
"(F-Favorite Movie)," he stuttered, blushing at his close you were to him.
You smiled, kissing his cheek. "Thank you Makoto."
And you two watched movies for the rest of the night, cuddling each other lovingly.

Nagisa

"Nagisa, I think it's going to rain," you told your blonde boyfriend, glancing out of Iwatobi High's front door.
"No, the weather didn't say it was going to rain today!" he replied, but the darkening clouds hovering above the school said otherwise.
Despite your statement, you both decided to walk home as you two normally would.
However, suddenly, a crackle of thunder sounded overhead, and rain started beating down on your backs.
You realized you couldn't run, since your house was over five blocks away, and you both would be soaked by then.
"Nagisa, what do you want to-ahh!"
You yelped as Nagisa grabbed your hands, spinning you around as your shoes sloshed in several puddles.
"Let's dance in the rain, (Nickname)-chan!"
You smiled, running from Nagisa as he chased you, laughing as the rain continued to pour down around you.
Let's just say your goal of not getting soaked was thrown completely out the window.

Rei

"R-Rei-kun," you stuttered, staring fearfully at the dark clouds that swirled in the sky above you. You had been afraid of thunder ever since you were little (A/N: If you aren't, just pretend. I personally find thunderstorms really cool, but I know not everyone does.) and you didn't want Rei to know. You thought it was really embarrassing.
But to your worst fear, thunder boomed over your head, indicating a storm was rolling in.
"...You're right," the megane replied, studying the clouds. "Let's hurry, (Name)-kun, I don't want you to get sick."
And as you two started running, the rain was steadily pouring down.
Luckily, Rei didn't hear your whimpers as you ran beside him.
Just as you got in the front door, an extremely loud rumble echoed in your ears.
You screamed, your heart taking a leap into your throat as you flung yourself into Rei's arms, tears prickling the corners of your eyes.
"(Name)-kun...are you afraid of thunder?" he placed his hand on top of your head, stroking your hair.
You nodded, burying your face in his chest. "I didn't want to tell you though...it's so embarrassing."
"(Name), I will love you no matter what, no matter what your fears are."
He kissed the top of your head, and held you until you calmed down.
"A-And..." Rei gulped, as if he had trouble saying this. "We can cuddle...i-if you want."
A smile tugged at your lips as you nodded eagerly, pulling Rei onto the couch.
You smiled as you laid next to Rei, wrapping your arms around his neck.
A blush rose to Rei's cheeks as your body pressed against his, but after he heard your deep, steady breathing, he knew you were asleep.
For the rest of the night, Rei hugged you close to him whenever you whimpered or shook.
Even though you would never get over your fear, Rei always made you fell safe, and you couldn't help but feel safe in his arms.

When my mom hears thunder, that is the fastest you will ever see her move. True story. :)
I feel guilty laughing about it though.
