Skills ( Chapter 4 )

Daryl's Pov.

Rick, T-dog, and Glenn went to Atlanta to try and find some more weapons and ammo, they should be back later today or tomorrow.

"Do Delilah and Cherokee know how to fish??" Amy ask.

"I never got a chance to teach them."

Well, Andrea and I are going fishing tomorrow, would you mind if we take them."

"That would be wonderful, they need as many skills as possible, but it will be tomorrow afternoon before Delilah can go, I'm teaching her to hunt in the morning."

"That's fine, we won't be going fishing till after lunch."

"Delilah, sweetie, wake up."

"Five more minutes, please."

"You have to get up, we're going hunting."

"Okay, daddy."

"Okay, look through the scope, you see the little red dot??"

"Yes."

"Okay, put the red dot on your target, and slowly breath in and then back out, when you're slowly breathing out, gently squeeze the trigger."

She pulls the trigger and the bolt hits the can. "Daddy I did it!!" She squeals

"You did great, you're a natural."

"Thanks daddy."

"Now, when you're hunting for food or defending your self from walkers, aim for the head. Okay??"

"Okay."

"Y'all caught a lot of fish."

"It's was so fun."

"I'm glad y'all had fun. Amy, Andrea, thanks for taking them."

"No problem, they were great."

"Girls go get cleaned up for dinner."

"The fish is delicious, thank you Amy, Andrea, Delilah, Cherokee." Bella says

"You're welcome."

"What's that sound??" Lori ask

"WALKERS, Bella get Delilah, Cherokee, Sophia and Carl in the RV and lock the door, here take this gun just in case."

I shoot a walker with my crossbow, then grab my knife stabbing three more in the head, when Rick, T-dog and Glenn get back, we clear all the walkers pretty fast.

"Bella, y'all can come out now." I say knocking on the RV door.

In the attack we lost Ed, Carol's husband and Jim got bit.

"We have to leave, find somewhere safe. I was thinking the CDC, they should have answers for all this." Rick says.

"I say Fort Benning." Shane adds.

"I'm with Rick." I reply

"We are with Daryl." Bella adds

Soon we have decided to go to the CDC.

"We leave at sunrise." Rick says

We had to leave Jim on the side of the road, he got to bad to travel and he wanted to be with his family.

When we arrive at the CDC it looks abandoned, the dead are everywhere.

"The camera moved." Rick says

"It's automatic, it's just shutting down, there's no one in there, Rick." Shane reply's

As Shane starts to drag Rick back to the cars, the doors open.

A/N Sorry if the walker attack scene wasn't that good, that was the first real action scene I've ever written, so sorry if it was kinda bad, hopefully they will get better as I write more. :-) <3
