The Beginning Of The End ( Chapter 2 )

I dedicate this chapter to mitch0722 for Daryl and Bella's ship name "Darella". Thank you it's was driving me crazy trying to come up with one.

~6 Months Later~

Daryl's Pov.

Bella and I just woke the girls up, and started getting Delilah ready for school when Merle came running through the door, "Daryl, Bella, pack everything, food, water, weapons, summer and winter clothes and shoes, toys for the girls, get it all in the RV, I've got my bike in the back of the truck. hurry get the girls and Dale, we have to go."

"Merle what do you mean we have to go??" Bella ask confused

"The dead, there not dead, if you get bit or scratched you turn. We have to get to the cabin."

"Bella you get the girls and pack all their stuff, clothes, shoes summer and winter, and toys, Cherokee's portable crib, and all our clothes and shoes summer and winter. Dale you get all your stuff. Merle you get the weapons, my crossbow and bolts, Bella's bow and arrows, Delilah and Cherokee's crossbow and bolts, and their bow and arrows, and the guns and ammo, all the knives, all eight tents, all eight sleeping bags, all sheets and blankets you can find, all eight two way radios, all the spare tires, extra car batteries and spark plugs, the generator for power, and all the gasoline you can find for the truck, RV and your bike and both generators. I'll get all the food, water, Cherokee's snacks, all the medicine and first aid stuff, batteries, flash lights and lanterns. We leave in fifteen minutes." I say as everyone scattered leaving to get what they are supposed to.

"Everybody ready??" Merle ask

"Yes, everything is in the RV." Bella answers

"Who's riding where??" I ask

"I'm driving the RV." Dale says

"I'm driving my truck." I say

"Both car seats are already in the truck, so Delilah, Cherokee and I are riding with Daryl."

"I'll ride with Dale, we need to stay in groups." Merle says

Merle and Dale get in the RV, while Bella puts Cherokee in her car seat and I put Delilah in hers.

~2 hours later At The Cabin~

Daryl's Pov

"We should be safe here, but just in case, everything stays in the truck and RV except my crossbow and bolts, Bella's bow and arrows and Merle's gun, enough food and water for one night and Cherokee's medicine, crib, a change of clothes for everyone and Brownie ( Delilah's brown teddy bear ) and Blueberry ( Cherokee's blue bunny )."

"There are 3 bedrooms, Daryl, Bella, Delilah and Cherokee get the master. Dale you can have your pick between the other two, and I'll take the last one. Daryl and I are going hunting to try and find some dinner." Merle said

"We'll be back in a little while, I love y'all." I say kissing Bella then leaning down hugging Delilah and Cherokee then kissing their foreheads. "Bella if anything happens take the truck and RV, we'll find you."

"Okay. I love y'all too."

"Love you daddy and Uncle Merle." Delilah says

"Me wuv daddy and Merle" Cherokee says in her little baby voice.

"Love y'all too." Merle says hugging them then and kissing their foreheads, then hugging Bella.

About 2 hours later we are tracking a deer, I have it in my sights, I fire the deer falling to the ground. When we get close to the cabin there are walkers everywhere, I drop the deer running towards the cabin killing every walker I pass, when I get to the cabin, my heart sinks, the truck and RV are gone, my family is gone.
