CDC Part 3 ( Chapter 7 )

Daryl's Pov

"What happens when that clock gets to zero??" Dale ask Jenner

"We run out of fuel." Jenner replies

"And what happens then??" Rick ask

"Vi, what happens when the generators run out of fuel??" Rick adds

"When fuel runs out, a facility wide decontamination will occur." Vi answers

"What the hell does that mean??" I ask

"When we run out of fuel, the air will catch on fire." Jenner reply's

"We have to get out of here!" Merle screams

"I told you when y'all came in, once those doors closed they stayed that way!"

"Can't you open them??" Shane ask

"No, I can't."

"Daddy, I'm scared, are we going to die??" Delilah ask crying.

"No baby, we're going to get out of here."

"Pinky promise??" Cherokee ask.

"Pinky promise." I say reaching down rapping my pinky around her smaller one, then doing the same with Delilah.

I run grabbing a axe and start hitting the metal doors will all my strength.

"Those doors are can withstand a bomb, so it can withstand you and your axe."

"But your head can't." I say running towards Jenner with my axe in the air ready to swing.

"Daryl! That's not going to help anything." Rick screams grabbing me, taking my axe throwing it to Shane.

"You can't let us die like this, you can't let our children our babies die like this." Bella says tears about to fall.

Jenner punches in a code and the metal doors open.

"Thank you!" Bella tells him.

"If you can get the outside doors open, good luck, you'll need it."

We try hitting the glass with everything we have, axe, chairs, everything, but nothing works.

"This might help." Carol tells Rick walking towards him with a grenade.

"Everybody down!!" Rick screams

The next thing I know there is a big boom and a wave of heat.

"Run for the cars!!" Merle screams

We get to the cars just as the building blows.

In the exposition we lost Jacqui and Andrea.

When we get in my truck I hug Bella, "I love you." Then kiss her lips, then hug my girls, kissing them on their foreheads. " I love y'all so much."

"Now off to find our next home." I say following Rick in our parade of cars.

"Maybe this home will be more permanent." Bella reply's

Hope you enjoyed I know it's short, hopefully next chapter will be longer.

2.I was thinking of doing flashback chapters to cover things like Daryl and Bella's wedding, and a few thing about Cherokee that I might need to explain before the next few chapters and other small things that happened over the 4 years between books. Would y'all like that or not??
