Begin Again (A Greyson Chance Love Story)

Chapter 15

*CJ's POV*

The three of us searched around the park for an hour already and there was no sign of emily anywhere. I was worried as heck. I can't let anything happen to her. Not now, not ever.

The three of us are now sitting on a bench panting. I can't stop thinking about emily. What if she's in trouble? She might be kidnapped! Oh shoot, I have to stop thinking like that. It's making the situation worse.

"This is all your fault!" I stood up and shouted at Greyson. "what? why me?" he asked irritated. "if you didn't left her this wouldn't happen!" I spat angrily. "I can't believe I let her date you" I added and ran away from the two of them.

"CJ! Wait!" Cody shouted. He ran to follow me but I ran so fast he wasn't able to catch up. I ran and ran until I found myself looking at this beautiful lake. 

As I walked near to the lake, I heard sobs. And I know it's Emily's. I quickly ran into where those sobs are coming from. 

I stood there a few meters away and I saw emily crying. She was sitting near the lake as she tries to stop crying. 

"Emily!" I shouted as I run to her. I immediately hugged her and rubbed her back for her to stop crying. "why are you crying em?" I asked.

"He-he doesn't, love me" she said in between sobs. I knew it. That douche bag .

"It's okay em, he doesn't deserve you, I told you that already" I told her. "sorry for not believing you CJ, I didn't expect this" she said. "its okay, never mind that okay? Gosh em, I was so worried about you" I told her.

"CJ?"

"Hmmm?"

"I wanna go back to new york"

"WHAT?!" I asked in shock. Why would she do this? She knows I can't stay here without her.

"You heard me, I don't want stay here any longer" she explained.

"I don't want either, you know that em, but I can't, I can't let my dad down" 

"I'm sorry CJ, but I just can't" she started crying again.

"Shush, stop crying em, okay, I'll ask dad to book us a flight back in new york okay?" 

"Are you sure you're fine with it?" she asked.

"If its for the risk of my best friend why not?"  I smiled at her.

"Thank you CJ" she hugged me. 

"Anything for you em" I hugged her back.

Emily and I decided to go home alone. I texted cody that I found her and we're heading home all by ourselves. Emily and I don't want to ride with them tonight. Not now that  emily is heart  broken. I shoudn't have trusted him with emily's heart.

As we arrived home, I set emily on her bed until she fell asleep. I hurriedly went to my room and change into my PJ's and sat on the couch in the living room.

When my dad arrived, I talked to him about what happened and he told me he understands and he'll get us tickets back to new york as soon as possible.

I called my mom after that and I told her that I'll be back soon and I told her that I'll explain as soon as we get there. She was glad to know that'll be back soon but I'll sure do miss my dad.

That same night cody also kept on calling me,  but I can't answer the phone right now. I can't.

Morning came and I woke up early to prepare breakfast for emily and I. dad left a note saying that he's already at the studio. So I looked out for foods in the kitchen on what to eat with emily when I heard someone spoke from behind me.
