Begin Again (A Greyson Chance Love Story)

Chapter 5

*CJ's POV*

I was so mad at the same time, tired. I argued with him. Again. I never expected that this is how I'll be living. I'll be arguing with him everyday. So that is how it's gonna be then. Let"s play. 

I went straight to the bathroom and took a shower. It's the best place to think. After taking a long shower, I wore my PJ's and crawled under the covers of my bed and rested.

Suddenly, someone knocked in my room, I ignored it cause I know it's just emily, and I was right. She went near me and sat on my bed.

"I can see she's already asleep, she must be tired after all those incident earlier" I hear emily whispering. Is she talking to me or is she with someone?

"I can see" he said. It's Greyson. I tried my best not to move and just listened to their conversation. Why is he here? He hates me!

"I'm sorry on the way she acted earlier, it's really not her, she's different 5 years ago, when I met her, she was kind, humble, shy and very caring, it's like she never had a best friend before" emily said even though she knew that Greyson used to be my best friend.

"Did you know about our past?" he asked emily. "yes, to be honest, when she knew that you're living here with us, she wanted to leave, but since she hasn't talked to her dad when she was with her mom, she decided to stay for her dad's sake" emily explained.

"I'm sorry" Greyson said. "its just hard for me to live with her, we had a terrible past, that's why we hate each other, I'm sorry if you're getting in between because of this" he added. "it's okay, I just don't want to see her sad. I was with her this past 5 years, and I never saw her like this, I wish we could go back to new york to get back the old her, but we can't" emily said trying not to cry.

"I wish I could bring the old Cj I knew before, but she hates me, and to be honest, I only hated her because she left me 5 years ago without saying goodbye" he replied. 

It made me felt guilty for a moment I heard him say that. But he's the one who started it, he left me hanging because of popularity. I wish I could bring back the old Greyson too.

"Can I ask you something?" emily asked Greyson. "what is it?" he said. "what really happened to the both of you years ago? she never told me, she hates talking about it" emily said disappointed.

"CJ and I were best of friends since we were three, our parents are very close, when her parents got divorced when she was seven, I was the one who always comforts her whenever she cries, one day, when I became popular, I haven't been able to talk to her, and one day, I went to their house to talk to her and apologize for ignoring her, but her dad said she left and went to her mom, that's why I became mad at her, she didn't say goodbye" Greyson said sighing.

"So that's why she was crying the first day I met her" emily trailed off. "she told me she was sad that moment because she lost her best friend, I comforted her that time and told her that I'll be her best friend, that's why we've been together  for 5 years now" she said.

"I feel so guilty when she left, but I hated her for not saying goodbye" Greyson said. "you know Greyson, I'll be honest with you, you're the one who started it, so I guess we can't blame her for not saying goodbye to you, if you only knew what she had been through without you" emily said.  sounds like she was pissed off. She stood up from my bed and left.

Greyson sat on the edge of the bed, I can feel it. 

"I'm sorry CJ, to be honest, I missed you, I feel so low to myself now, cause I was mad at you for a tiny reason, emily was right, I was the one who started this, I missed you CJ, you don't know what I've been through while you were gone, I hope I could bring back the old you, the old us" he said as he stood up from my bed. "I'm sorry CJ" he sighed and left my room.

I suddenly felt tears ran down to my cheeks. I felt guilty too.

I'm sorry too Greyson.
