CJ's point of view

I guess moving to LA isn't as bad as I thought it was. Emily didn't tell me a lot about her day. Most of the time, she told me about the random questions fans shot at them. I found it hilarious but Emily seemed troubled about it so I have to bear with the situation.

It's yet another morning, I'm excited because Cody asked me to go out with him again. Well, I wouldn't say we're dating but somehow I believe our feelings are mutual. I know I sound so ridiculous right now but I've never had postive feelings towards a guy for five years.

It's an overwhelming effect, what happened between Greyson and I, it all shifted my views in a different direction. I used to be so fearless, even around guys. Not that I flirt with them, but I wasn't that shy to show my boyish side around men but ever since our friendship collapsed, things changed, even me. Now, I've changed again, maybe it's for the better. Maybe the new perspective of having Greyson out of my life isn't something bad. It's a sign of something new and better.

But he was my best friend, he's still someone I care about. Wait, cared someone I cared about, as in the past. I don't care about him now, right? Somehow, the very thought of him can't slip past my mind. It's like he's taking over my head. I don't like him, in fact, I feel the very opposite of that.

I hate him.

But why can't my head shut up about him? The last thing I want is for him to invade my peaceful mind. Yet here I am thinking about him right now. Well, at least even if I am thinking about him, I'm not saying anything nice at all.

My phone alarm rang, I probably pressed snoozed for like the twelve time today. I sometimes wonder why I even set alarms, I only use them when I actually have to wake up early.

I finally broke my faithful relationship with my bed. I do my usual routine ever since I started living here. I wake up, go to the kitchen, collect what I want and plomp myself on the couch and watch the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries. That series is pure classic. Ian Somerhalder is so hot.

The lights won't turn on...okay? I opened the refigerator and an awful stench filled my nose that almost made me tear up. I closed the refrigerator immediately. "The power's out. Some of the food spoiled." Why does he always have to be in the kitchen when I walk in, in the morning? I mean, he could be a part of the daily process of how my routine works but I think I've made it clear that I don't want anything to do with that prick. "Oh, great, it's you again." I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes in reply to my sarcastic remark. Prick. "It's not my fault you walk in when I'm here." He protested. I rolled my eyes at him. "Nice eyes." He commented. "Be carefully, I might pluck them out of their sockets." He added. "Then come at me, bro." I scoffed. I found some chips, well, this will have to do. I have no choice, the food spoiled. I sat comfortably on the couch. I clutched the remote.

Oh yeah, the power is out. Ugh, I'm going to miss my mates, Damon, Elena and Stefan. This is evil.

My phone buzzed.

I heard the power's out in your place. Want to swing by mine? I'll pick you up. -Cody(:

I don't remember us exchanging numbers or did we? Hmmm.

Sure -CJ xx

It only took a few minutes before my phone buzzed again.

Great, I'll pick you up in 10 -Cody(:

I darted out of the couch and hurried up to my room. Greyson was in the way so I stepped on his foot in the process earning a glare from him. I gave him a smirk before disappearing into the humble perimeters of my room. I like saying it that way.

I took a quick bath and decided to wear something simple. I wore a pair of jeans and mustache printed shirt. I dried my hair and let it loose. I'm not dressing up for Cody...er...well, of course I don't want to look horrendous in front of him. I received a message from Cody saying that he's almost here. I headed out of the room and back to the living room. "Where are you going?" Greyson asked. "Why do you care?" I shot back, fidling with my phone. "Well just in case your dad asks, I could tell him." He excused. That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. "Dad would call me if he wants to ask where I am so it's none of your business." I said and the door bell rang. One of our house helpers opened the gates. "Good day, mate." The familiar Austalian accent echoed through thr living room. "C-cody?" Greyson sounded surprised. "Ello, mate." Cody greeted and they made a basic handshake. "W-what are you doing here?" Greyson asked, acting all nervous. What's up with him? "I'm here to pick up CJ, I'm taking her out to my house. Mom wanted to meet her." Cody said. His mom wants to meet meI'm not prepared for this. I should've dressed up better. What if I say something wrong? I know his parents are nice, from what I've heard over the internet but this was uncalled for! I'm not ready. "Cody, you could've told me so I could prepare." I whispered. "Don't worry, you look great." He said and gave me an assuring smile. "So, let's go." He said and dragged me out of the room.

I hope I make a good impression on his family.

Since there's a little love story going on between Cody and CJ, here's a little controversy for them. Well, it's not a big problem but it's something.

And to my amazing co-writer, it's okay. I understand, I'm glad you updated. I love your chapter!
