We spent the afternoon shopping to fill our fridge and checking out all the local shops. One thing Queensland was full of- nightclubs. We got stopped about 8 times by people asking if we planned on going clubbing while we were there. Unfortunately we had to say no, considering we were underage.

"That guy was soo flirting with you! 'No one will ask your age, plus if they did I'd tell them to fuck off and quit cockblocking'." I laughed at Lila's impression of the last nightclub advocate and shook my head. "That is not what he said, he was just doing his job" I told her stepping out of the lift, knowing she was right.

"Good thing Dustin isn't around to hear this" Reagan chuckled as my eyes widened. Shit. "Can you guys open the room? I forgot to call him." Catching the keys I threw her, Lila gave me a slightly worried look but said nothing. She left me the key and took the food in with Reagan, shutting the door behind her.

Hopefully he wouldn't be too mad, it's easy to put him in a bad mood and I hate when I do. "Dustin-" I started when he answered, just to be cut off. "About fucking time. What have you been doing that was more important than calling me?" my boyfriend's angry tone sliced through the phone.
I bit my lip, thinking of what to say. "I'm sorry, I got caught up with organising everything. I promise I didn't avoid it on purpose" I said honestly.

If I knew my boyfriend, and I did, that wouldn't be enough. And I was right. "I don't give a shit how busy you are. You know the rules, it doesn't matter what you're doing. If I've told you to call me, you call me" he snapped back.
"I know. I'm sorry. It won't happen again" I said quietly, giving in. My stomach dropped when I heard a girl giggle in the background. He wouldn't, would he?

"Who are you with?" Just as I asked, the boys door opened and Liam popped his head out. "Everything okay?" I swore in my head, hoping Dustin hadn't heard, but no such luck.
"I could ask you the same fucking thing! Should've known, in another state for 5 minutes and you've found someone else to fuck around with."

I started to panic, knowing how bad he gets when he assumes stuff like this. I remember once I spent the day with a cousin, and a friend of Dustin's who went to my school saw and sent him a photo, then went around school telling everyone I was a whore and had an STI. Dustin never did anything, he said it wasn't Flynn who started the rumours.
It never died down, so I started at a new school. Of course though, it was the same one Dustin went to. He told me he couldn't trust me, and by being at his school he knew I wouldn't dare step out of line.
Reagan and Lila, being the best friends they are moved with me, and everything was fine. That was 6 months ago.

"No Dustin that's not it!" I tried to explain but he told me to get fucked and hung up the phone.

I hung my head and slid the iPhone back into my pocket. Liam cleared his throat and I looked up, giving him an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that" he shook his head, "boyfriend?" I nodded. At least, I think he's still my boyfriend. I guess I'll find out when I get home.

"You guys still okay for tonight?" I asked, trying to change the topic. Liam nodded, "yeah of course. We don't really know where we're going yet, just thought we'd have a look around. It's our first night here so we haven't had a chance to find anywhere good."

"There's a good kebab place in the Main Street I went to last time I was here, we can try that?" Liam agreed it sounded like a good idea and told me they'd be over in half hour, so I rushed in to get ready.
The girls asked about the phone call but I brushed them off, wanting to get it out of my mind. I wasn't going to let him ruin my time here.

Looking through the clothes I brought with me, I decided on black tights and mid-drift hoodie that Dustin got me for Christmas a couple of weeks ago. Applying little mascara and foundation, I left my hair out, letting it fall to my hips. Looking at it disapprovingly, I decided I'd dye it darker when I got home. The natural uneven shades bothered me.
