Eren's Nightmare (ON HOLD)

Chapter 7

Hey guys! I am soooo sorry for not updating in over a year. Its been crazy! But If I get any feed back on this chapter I will update it again within two weeks (due to the very busy nature of this time of year) And thank you so much to everyone who has comment and liked my story! "Eren? What are you doing?"

Fast as lightning Eren whipped around to see Levi (of course lol) standing by one of the stalls looking at Eren with a face of pure concern. Eren was relived that it wasn't someone who wanted to kill him. "Is something wrong?" Levi raised an eyebrow. "Nothing! Why would anything be wrong?" Eren quickly responded, not wanting to explain this predicament Levi had unintentionally caused him. Levi looked at Eren, then at the door that Eren had locked, then back at Eren, clearly unconvinced. The brunette sighed, seeing there was no way he was going to avoid explaining, then told Levi about dumbass Jean being a horseface asshole tattle tale. The situation really wasn't too funny, but the way Eren explained it, furiously cussing Jean out every other word, Levi had to admit he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Eren, are you sure that's what this is about? I mean, maybe shes upset about something you borrowed/stole from her?" Eren thought for a second. Now that he thought of it he kind of took her spare uniform last week since his got stained up when he got into a scuffle with Jean and he had taken Mikasas spare so he wouldn't get in trouble during inspection. "Um. Maybe." Eren blushed slightly in embarrassment, Levis assessment seemed like a much more reasonable explanation than his conclusion jumping. "Maybe you should talk to her then?" Levi prompted patiently, shaking his head in a bemused manner at the younger boy. "Yeah...." Eren nodded, he sure hoped Levi was right about this... "um. Thank you corporal." "No problem Jaeger," He replied, turning his attention back to his horse. "Um. And Jaeger? " "yeah corporal? " Levi shifted nervously for a moment, should he ask him? "Corporal?" Levi took a deep breath, strengthening his resolve, "If you would like help in training, ill be available from 5:00 to 7:30 on Wednesday to Friday. My offer will remain standing until you fail to show up on time. Is that understood?" "Yes sir!" Eren responded entusiasticly, thrilled at such an opportunity. Levi rolled his eyes, smiling slightly in an amused way.

After leaving the stables Eren went about his normal routine, figuring he should just let Mikasa come to him and take the punishment when it comes. Not surprisingly he didnt have to wait too long. "EREN!" The calm yet menacing voice called after him. Eren quickly spun around to see his adopted sister glaring him down coldly. He shivered slightly, "Y-yes Mikasa?" "Where is my uniform." "Uuhhh, I dont know what you're talking about?" Eren let out an internal sigh of relief at the topic of her anger. It wasnt about this morning.  "Eren." "Yeah?" "I want my uniform back in my room at the end of the day," She didnt have to say 'or else', her commanding and menacing voice was enough to convey the weight. Eren heaved yet anothet sigh of relief and made a mental note to drop her uniform off at her room after he had cleaned it. He really had to work on being more tidy and neater. After gathering up his sisters uniform and heading to the laundry room, Eren mulled over Levis earlier proposition as he cleaned the uniform to the best of his ability. He wondered what they would work on, if it would be hard, and other simple ideas about this new training opportunity.  He was kind of disappointed that he would have to wait two more days before they would meet, but was excited non the less.

As the day drew on, dusk neared and everyone's day was winding to an end. Eren stopped by mikasas room to drop off her uniform and made his way reluctantly back towards his barracks, practically dragging his feet. He doubted Levi would let him stay in his room again, and Eren also didnt want to fuel any rumors Jean would be creating. He sighed, finally reaching his own room, and entering. He was exhausted,  but knew he'd have to sleep eventually. It was probably best he got it out of the way. The sooner the better. Eren slipped on his night shirt and the next thing he knew he was asleep.

He was walking. Not running, not 3D maneuvering, just walking. He wasnt in uniform but in his typical casual outfit, an off-white t-shirt and jeans. It was dark and he was in a forest, not like the one just outside the walls with giant trees but with small dark green pines. It was cold and Eren could see the warmth in his breath hover momentarily in the air. He looked around insecurity,  expecting to see a titan or some other horrific scene, but there was nothing, just peaceful silence. Eren continued walking, actually enjoying the walk. Soon enough he reached a clearing, a small worn cabin sitting in the dead center. There was no lights. He lightly pushed on the door and it swung open, revealing an bare, empty hall, coated with dust. He continued walking and as he reached the end the hall split into three more. Down one of the halls there was a door partially open, light flickering across the hallways floor. Eren walked down the hallway towards the door, dispite something in him screaming to turn back, his feet kept moving, kept carrying him forward till he reached the door. He pushed it open to see a pile. A pile of bits and pieces resting in front of the fireplace. A few faces were visible, frozen in an expression of horror, he could see his Mom, Mikasa, Connie, Sasha, Jean, Levi- so much blood...

Eren jolted up, shaking, biting his lip to keep from making to much noise. God. They were just so vivid. "Its okay. Its okay. Im okay. Their okay. Its okay." Eren rocked back and forth, mummbling to himself. He took a few deep breathes, calming himself. After a little while longer he layed back down, pulling his blanket up around him, but there was no way he was going to fall back asleep. He wanted to go to Levis room like the night before, but he knew he couldnt. So Eren sat in his bed the rest of the night, trembling and staring at the shadows on the wall, praying for dawn to come quickly.

I know its really choppy and different from before, in trying to get back in the zone for this story since its been so long and I may or may not have forgotten where I was going with this lol :P.
