Chapter 10

Yayyyy!!! 10 chapters! That’s awesome lol. Sorry about the delayed update. Things have been absolutely crazy, you have noo idea. So, I know I promised things would happen this chapter during the last chapter, but Im going to do it again lol. NEXT CHAPTER. NEXT TWO CHAPTERS (OR THREE). CHAPTER 12/13 ESPECIALLY. TRUST ME. THINGS. MORE THINGS. AAAGHH. Sorry lol. Any who, thank you for being patient while I waited for votes :3 I wuv my readers lol. I actually think I wrote way too much for this chapter originally so I spit it into two (or three) parts. The stuffs I promised is in the next part, Im so sorry! I hope you still enjoy! So since I actually got the number of votes I required last time,  I'm going to do it again (cause I think it’s going to give me extra time to work on the next chapter for you guys and possibly make it even better) So, 5 votes! 5 votes and I'll update! SERIOUSLY. VOTE. I decided I will update this specific story eventually anyway based on my drive and the support I receive, but if you vote I will update it a lot sooner! Like months sooner lol. (However I may be updating chapter 11 sooner, just cause It was originally part of chapter 10) Otherwise you are leaving it to me for when Im bored and have nothing to do or just feel like writing. I’d also like to apologize if this chapter is not up to expectations; I kind of put it off for a while so it is kind of rushed. I really wanted to update as soon as possible for you guys. Hope you guys like it.

It was early in the morning, before even a hint of the coming dawn had emerged on the horizon, that the raven haired man began to stir. His steel colored eyes flickered open, adjusting to the dim lighting, and it took a moment for him to register the form resting against him. The memories slowly came back to him from the night before, when he had carried Eren to his bed and let him sleep there with him to help with the nightmares; he noticed he still had his arms wrapped protectively around the younger boy as he slept, curled up against him, his head resting against his chest. Levi smiled slightly at the sleeping boy, untangling one of his arms to brush a strand of Eren's chocolate colored hair away from his sleeping face. He looked so peaceful like this, so calm and relaxed, curled up in Levi's strong arms. Levi smiled at the sleeping boy gently, holding him in his arms. Why did this feel so right? 

The warm sunlight leisurely inched its way into the dimly lit bedroom as the time passed, Levi holding the younger boy tenderly, not caring to think and trouble his mind with unclear thoughts. "L-Levi?" The corporal glanced down to see two sleepy emerald green eyes gazing up at his steel grey ones tiredly, looking slightly confused. Why did he look like tha- oh. Levi's cheeks turned a light pink as he managed to awkwardly untangle his arms from around the boy, trying to cover with a mumbled "You looked cold," avoiding eye contact. Eren raised an eye brow slightly at the corporals unusual behavior, but shrugged it off in favor of stretching slightly and glancing at the time. It was still early; he wouldn't have to report for training for another two hours. Eren yawned silently, turning back to face the older male to find the bed empty. He quickly glanced around the room, spotting Levi next to the wardrobe on the left side of the bed, next to Eren. Eren silently watched the raven haired male, who still looked a little flustered for some reason, as he rummaged through the wardrobe, pulling out the few garments he needed. "Levi?" "Y-yes?" "Its pretty early to be getting ready already isnt it? I mean, I know I still have over an hour before I have to go..." Eren trailed off, wondering if the corporal had to get up a lot earlier than him or something. Levi's cheeks were once again dusted with a light pink at being caught busying himself; it was an unreasonably early hour to be putting on his uniform after all. "Tch, brat." He grumbled dismissively, grabbing the clothing and returning to his side of the bed. There were a few things he had to take care of today anyways, why not get it done early. Levi purposefully faced away from the brunette as he changed, taking off the comfortable white t-shirt he had worn last night and replacing it with the tight fitting white button up collared shirt of the uniform. Eren, still curled up under the warm sheets of Levi’s bed, felt his cheeks flush slightly at the sight of the momentarily shirtless man, though not exactly sure why. Eren turned to face the other way to give the corporal some privacy, still not quiet driven enough to get up himself. He carefully studied the carved wood of the wardrobe patiently, tracing the smooth curved lines of the wood with his eyes, waiting for Levi to finish changing. Eren caught a sudden glimpse of movement out of the corner of his eye towards the door, and turned just in time to see the corporals figure disappear through it, closing it behind. Eren stared at the door for a moment, feeling slightly hurt by the lack of regard his superior had given him. He knew it was unreasonable to expect Levi to give him any special attention, but he didnt even say goodbye Had he upset him somehow? Eren sighed, shaking off the idea, (this is Levi after all) and stood up, heading to grab his own clothing and following suit.
