I just put on a jumpsuit. It was made of bathing suit material so I guess it counts as a bathing suit. East wore a white tankini. And South wore a jumpsuit like mine only it was a shorts and short sleeve one-piece. North wore a rainbow one-piece with frilly straps. I grabbed Gaston and his cousins, and we all headed downstairs to the beach. It was gorgeous!! I mean it was amaaaaaaazzzziiiing!! North and Daniel slapped on like five quadrillion pounds of sunscreen. She burns really easy. Being of the ocean and all. Gaston and I didn't put any sunscreen on because the sun is flowing through our blood. Oh gosh that sounds so creepy. East, Nathan and South put on sunscreen too, but you know, normal amounts. I laid down on my towel with my sunglasses on and closed my eyes. Gaston just sat in the sand and read. Dakota and North dove in the water and didn't come out for three minutes. They can breathe underwater, like Percy Jackson. They can determine whether they want their hair and clothes wet or not. It's cool I guess. East and South raced to the water and both tripped. Nathan burst out laughing. Someone else did too. The voice sounded familiar. I sat up and instantly regretted it. I was making direct contact with Adam Summers. He was the toughest most horrible kid in our whole school back when we were all sixteen. He once made a teacher lose his job. I almost turned him into a little ash person, but then Sierra stopped me from burning him. That's besides the point. We were both at the same place, at the same time. WHY?! "Sorry for laughing but I couldn't help it. Well look at the coincidence sitting right in front of me. Incredible, isn't it?" I could have punched him right the and there, but then I noticed something was different about him. He didn't make any snarky remarks or laugh in my face. He even apologized for laughing. He looked different too. When he was 16 he was all covered in zits and had braces. His hair was always a greasy black and he was skinny as a stick. Now he had no braces, not a zit in sight, his hair was actually a dark brown now, and he looked average in weight. WHAT IN THE NAME OF MOUNT ST. HELEN HAPPENED?!?! Puberty probably. South and East came out of the water looking super embarrassed and dried themselves with tiny gusts of wind (used by East of course) in a matter of seconds. They looked at Adam for a moment, then widened their eyes and East slapped him. "What was that for, Erica?!" Gaston looked at Adam. I whispered that he didn't know our real names and we aren't going to tell him any time soon. "That was for all the terrible things you did to us two years ago." Adam looked at her. "It's all in the past. I've changed. I promise. If you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you guys, now where is Nora?"
