It was almost the end of July. It was a partly cloudy breezy day in Pompeii. After the girls started to recover, we all took all the homeless people and helped them make new homes across Europe. It wasn't easy, but it was finished. Anyway, I woke up at like... 10? Hey now, I may be a hero, but I'm still a teenager. I trudged out of bed and looked into the basement also known as Gamandar's room. When I say Gamandar I mean he finds it comfy sleeping in dragon form. It's weird, but I shouldn't care. He wasn't there. I scratched my back and went to the bathroom. I checked my breath and almost fainted. I looked at my short frizzy, dark brown hair in the mirror and turned the water on. I washed my face and put my glasses on. I walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat. Gaston was there in human form dressed already. "Morning." He said. His freckled face giving me a bright smile. "Good morning." I said almost falling asleep again. He gave me a bowl of grits. "Some breakfast for my zombie girlfriend who looks like she didn't get any sleep." I stared at him and rolled my eyes. "You're real lucky I love you scale boy."
"Right back at ya hothead."
"Shaddup."
This basically went on for another ten minutes as we ate. It ended with pecking on our window. I saw that one of East's messenger birds came. Seriously she can't just email us? I mean she must have SOME cell service in those clouds. I opened the door and the bird dropped the piece of paper on my head and flew away. I took it and read it.

Hey guys,
So, I sent this bird mail out to everyone. I'm thinking that we could fly out to Hawaii on Tuesday and leave Saturday. That way, we'll be able to celebrate our birthdays on Thursday, while still have two days to chill. What are your thoughts?
East

I wrote the same letter three times so the others can read it.

Sup,
So yeah I think that's a pretty good idea. Although, we're gonna have to dress normally, and East, you're gonna need a drivers license. I am not going to have an unlicensed little sister almost crash a car in the air. Also South, please at least try to get clean before you come because I'm not gonna have you stink the whole time. North, I hope you've been practicing your wave riding because I'll probably start to sizzle if you touch me.
Thanks for listening guys,
West :)

I threw the paper in the water where a seahorse grabbed it in its mouth. "North." I told it. Hopefully it understood. It started swimming away with the paper. A bird came from above the clouds and snatched my letter to East from my hand. "Wonderful." I said. Rolling my eyes again, I started to walk to the post office while writing South's jungle house address. I slipped the letter in after sticking stamps on it, and started to walk home.
