I'm Raina Navarro, my friends call me Rain. I just turned eighteen last week. I'm neither popular nor I'm a loner. I'm at the middle, I talk to a lot of people but I have one best friend. I have a wavy brown hair, brown eyes and my skin's a bit tan. I have a little brother, he's not little though, he's fifteen. His name is Troy, he's got my dad's dark blue eyes and my mom's brown hair. Our skin color are alike. He's over protective of me, even though he was younger than me, and I'm over protective of him. So it's a win-win. Our house is big enough to fit four people in it, I have my own room. I have music records, video tapes and photos I took from my polaroid camera, instant print out. My dad gave it to me when I turned eleven, he knew exactly that I have an in-born talent for photography. I guess I have. When I turned thirteen, my mom gave me a charm bracelet and a necklace, the necklace is a closed book. Mom said that people found it hard to read me when I was little, they don't know what expression I have or something.

My best friend, Ember Grace. She dyed her hair bright red and it's curled up so it looks short. She's seventeen now. She's light skinned and a fashionista. While she's out shopping, I'm inside with my favorite book. She walks, I run. She do diet, I eat. We're basically opposites but we love each other for that. I met here when I was fifteen and she was fourteen. We were originally from New York but we move here in Sweden because my mom is a dentist and that she has work here. My dad is a graphic designer, so, he works at home. We both go to University of Sweden, there's a lot of different students there from different countries. Some from Cambodia and a lot more from different places. When new people come, I greet them like the friendly lady I am and first, they think I'm faking it but after a while, they see that I'm really friendly and weird. Mostly, weird. I write my own novels, short ones, but no one has ever read it, I don't publish them, not even Ember. Tomorrow is our first day of school from our sem-break and I'm not excited.
