[Arianna's P.O.V]
Dakota and I finally got Levi and Trinity to dance together. Him being the idiot he is was obviously embarrassed and stumbled over his feet a few times. Darren and Alli are dancing together, looking awkward as ever. I look over at Dakota and see her and Tristan together.
Why can't he just ask her out already? Gosh, he's taking too long! I shake my head at my own thoughts and close my eyes. I lay back onto the Spongebob towel spread beneath me, courtesy of Dakota. I place my hands behind my head, letting the music and voices drown out my frantic thoughts.

After a half an hour, which only felt like 5 minutes, I feel a sharp shock on my face and body. I frantically sit up and see Damien laughing at me from far away. He must've ran away when he threw the water on me. Asshole.
"Wake up, it's a party!" Damien yells at me from a safe distance. I see a giant bucket that was once filled with water, now empty.
"You're lucky you're all the way over there!" I shout in response and turn my head at the sound of high pitched giggling. Melanie. She's looking at me, trying desperately not to laugh.
"Go ahead," I tell her, laying back down on the towel in defeat. Melanie starts cracking up like I knew she would.
"He...you," she starts, but it's impossible to finish through her laughter.. She bursts out laughing again and this time she literally falls on the floor. Or should I say sand? Oh whatever. That earns her a couple of stares, but she doesn't seem to mind.
"Are you alright?" Alli asks me, coming over to us while Tristan tags behind her.
"Yeah I'm fine, I guess," I answer. "But she looks like a dying walrus right now." I gesture to Melanie, who is panting heavily. I grab a towel next to me and start to wipe my face and body off.
"Didn't you have mascara on?" asks Alli.
"Water-proof," Melanie replies, finally recovered from her laugh attack. Alli makes an 'o' shape with her mouth and turns to Dakota, who is walking over to us. She gives me a puzzled look, looking for an answer.
"Don't even ask," is my response as I finish drying my legs off with the towel. Tristan looks like he's in a whole other world, so Dakota snaps in front of his face. He looks confused for a second before gesturing by the fire.
"Look over at Levi," Tristan says. Everybody looks over at Levi at the edge of the fire with Trinity.
"So he finally worked up the guts to ask her, huh?" I ask no one in particular. I could see Melanie nod from the corner of my eye. We all spy on them not-so-secretly and watch their mouths move. Woah, that sounds weird. A surprised look crosses Levi's face, then a look of disappointment, then he shrugs off something like it's no big deal. She gives him an 'I'm sorry' look, stands up, and walks over to Asher. Levi hangs his head down and sulks over to us. Melanie puts her hand on his shoulder.
"Are you alright man?" Tristan asks sadly.
"Yea, well, no not really."
"Why, what happened?" asks Alli.
"She..."
"Yeah?" Melanie this time.
"She..."
"Will you spit it out already?!" Dakota and I yell simultaneously. We look at each other and fist-bump.
"Okay, okay," he starts again. "She has a boyfriend." He sounds sad this time. We all look at each other besides Tristan, regretting what we said earlier about getting rejected.
