"Introduce yourself, please," Pellegrini smiled at me.
"Oh," I said, "I'm Sara Cacéres. As you guys might know, I'm your new physio."
"What happened to Gary?" Sterling asked.
Pellegrini let out a frustrated sigh, "First, his name isn't even Gary, so I'm baffled as to why you lot keep calling him that--"
"You told me his name was Gary," Sterling elbowed Hart.
"Raheem," Pellegrini said sternly. "Allow me to talk."
He nodded.
"Gary, as you guys call him," the manager said, "had to move back to Argentina or wherever he comes from because of family problems. So now, Sara is our physio."
"Hi Sara!" De Bruyne waved at me.
"Hello!" Toure said afterwards.
"She knows who all of you are," Pellegrini said, "I think. So, no need for introductions."
"You single?" Kompany asked.
I laughed, shaking my head. "Nope."
"Aw, Sergio!" some of them nudged somebody in the back.
So many feelings rushed through me. Did they know Sergio was my ex? Were they trying to pair us together? What was happening?
"Stop," I heard the insanely familiar voice from the back of the room.
"Ow, I hurt my cheek!" Bony said, "Doc, can you kiss it better?"
I laughed and several people cheered.
"Enough of that!" Pellegrini said. "Get on the pitch. If I see you lads faking an injury just so she could attend to you, you will suffer consequences. Okay?"
"Yes, boss," was the monotonous answer that filled the room.
"Keep your pick-up lines to yourselves, lads," Pellegrini said, "the last thing you'd wanna do is make her uncomfortable."
"Yes, boss," the players repeated before walking out of the room.
"Dr. Cacéres," Pellegrini approached me once everyone was gone. "Usually, the medics spectate all the training action. But for this morning, I will allow you to have your office set up."
"Thank you very much, Mr. Pellegrini," I smiled at him, nodding. "And you can just call me Sara."
"I'd prefer to call you something more professional," he said. "Now, go on."
I left the locker room and quickly walked to my office.

I had everything set up the way I wanted it in just an hour. Remembering what Pellegrini had told me about what the medics usually do, I packed my first aid kit and slung it over my shoulder. Just as I walked towards the door, it opened, almost slamming into my nose.
"Doctora!" David Silva smiled at me. "I am glad you are here!"
"Where else would I be?" I raised my eyebrow.
He shrugged. "Anyway, Sergio screwed his ankle up. Can you help, doctora?"
It was then I noticed the owner of the arm slung around David's shoulder.
"Oh, hey, Sergio," I smiled at him. Then I pointed at the couch, "David, lay him down there."
David nodded in compliance as he assisted Sergio towards the couch.
