Loriana POV

All day in school I've been trying to avoid Ace as much as I can. Whenever I see him in the hallway or if we have the same class, I just look away and don't pay any attention to him.

It's lunch time and I'm definitely dreading it cause we always sit at the same table with the same people. I hope he doesn't try to talk to me and has gotten the hint throughout the day.

"Hey babes. I feel like we haven't spoken in ages but it's actually only been a day." Hannah said once I sat next to her at the table.

"Yeah I know." I mumbled. I can feel Ace staring at me hard.

"So anyways, this guy I met yesterday invited me too a bonfire tomorrow. You have to come with me." she said.

I opened my mouth to reply but Ace felt like he should instead with his dumb ass.

"Nah B. She ain't going to no damn party, kickback, none of that shit. And stop influencing my sister to do all these trash ass things that a young lady shouldn't be doing." Ace said making me to roll my eyes extra hard.

"Woah there buddy. Who died and made you her father. For your information, young lady's do go out a party. Just cause we trying to have fun doesn't mean we're going out and fucking every walking thing with a dick. See, I don't understand why guys think like that." Hannah said.

I just sat back and shook my head cause if there's one thing I hate, it's confrontation. Hannah is right but at the same time, I honestly don't want to go to another party and not be accepted again.

"Can yall stop? Sorry Hannah but I'm on strict lockdown so Ricky brings me to school and picks me up everyday now." I said. "Stop speaking for me Ace. Like as if I'm even fucking with you right now."

"Oh so you're mad that I called you out on your shit? Aight...cool." He said, basically dismissing me. I expect an apology at the least.

...

"How was your day in school Loriana?" Ricky asked as the driver drove away from the school.

"Fine." I mumbled.

"Well, that's good." He said.

"Ricky, this isn't the way home." I said when I noticed unfamiliar houses pass by.

"Yeah well you are actually going to tutor that lil boy that's always around your uncles." He said.

I already know he's talking about Avery. Ain't this some bullshit.

"Hell no! Take me home or else I will gladly walk. I'm not about to breath the same air as that guy. He's rude and has zero manners." I said, protesting against this bullshit.

"There is no choice in this matter Lori. I would advise that you just suck it up. It won't be forever." He said. I rolled my eyes at that.

"Why am I being forced to do this. Nobody asked me if I'm ok with it, just put me into it. I swear nobody in my family fucking cares about what I think." I said. I'm so irritated right now that I feel a head ache coming.

"Stop all that cussing little girl and don't speak about your family like that cause you know they love you. There's no problem with helping people out." He said.

I poured and sat back in my seat. I don't know why I'm being forced into this situation out of nowhere. A heads up would have been nice. I don't understand why I have to suffer because some kid wants to act like a dumb ass and act like as if listening in class is so hard.
