Loriana POV

"First I got married to money, then I fell in love with that dirty." I rapped along with Future.

"First I got married to money, then I fell in love with that dirty." Rodney repeated after me, nodding his head to the beat.

"Extendo, extendo, extendo, the clip got a hold like 30." He rapped together.

When I tell you this is our shit, I mean it. You don't want to play this around us when we're together because we'll act a straight fool and not even care. Rodney continued to rap while I opened up snapchat.

"You do what you want when you're poppin', yeah. You do what you want once you cop it. You do what you want when you got it, yeah." We rapped together as I recorded us.

"Yo send me that video." He said. I nodded and did just that.

Today we're just hanging out and chilling. It's been about a week since Rodney's friend passed away and I've been trying my best to keep his mind off of it.

"I got to ask you something." He said then put the volume down. He looked straight ahead at the road as he stroked his beard.

"Yeah..."

"You know that the funeral is this weekend and I'm leaving in 2 days. I was wondering if you would do me the favor of going with me. I don't really feel like going by myself and I really want you to meet my family down there too." He said.

I'm shocked as hell that he's asking me this. I already knew I was going to be miserable for the few days he was leaving but I didn't expect him to ask me to go with him.

"I would have to definitely ask my parents." I said.

"I know how they are so I took the liberty in asking them myself. I assured them of your safety and that I will bring you back the same way you left. After listing out rule and shit, they both agreed." He said then chuckled. I raised an eyebrow, not believing him.

"My dad, you know, crazy ass Mario Ramirez, said yes to you taking me on a trip out of state. Stop lying." I shook my head.

"I'm dead ass serious lil mama. He trust me." He said with a cheesy smile.

"Tickets are probably sold out or way to expensive at this point." I said.

"I bought an extra ticket when I bought mine. It was for my mom but she wasn't approved for the time off." He said. He looked at me for a quick second before parking his car into the parking lot of the bowling alley.

"Well then, I guess I'm going to New Orleans. I've never been there before so this should be exciting!" I said.

"I guess. Maybe after the sad shit, I'll take you sight seeing. I honestly just can't wait to have some of my grandma's food. I've been suffering." He said, all dramatic and shit.

"Is she nice? I hope she ends up liking me." I said as we got out the car. I can't wait to whoop his ass in bowling.

"She's the sweetest and craziest woman you will ever meet. She's gonna be surprised to see me with a girl because I've never brought a girl to meet her. My grandma is my queen no lie. I can't just introduce to anybody." He said. I blushed and looked down.

"So I'm worthy of meeting her?"

"Shit, hell yeah. That ain't even a question baybeh." He said and draped his arm around my shoulder.

...

"You see, I let you win on the low. I didn't want to puncture your ego." Rodney said as we sat down with our food in front of us.
