Has anyone taken note of the three little bars beside your books on your works page that have appeared? Do you know why they are there? You can now put your stories into the order you want them in!
Wait now, do not get all wiggly and puppy-like excited just yet ...
It's another of those Whatpad sort of situations ... so far I've discovered (by talking to a few of my rather helpful Whatpad user friends who are my guinea pigs) that it doesn't often work very well. Sometimes the books go beck to where they were, if you hit the "show more" button at the bottom of your works page so you can see all of your stories to allow you to arrange them it moves everything back. At times once you've moved the books into the top four spots that will show on your page, it refuses to move anything else.
In addition to making this change, as per the usual Whatpad MO, they've screwed things up. The works page does not work properly now. If you try to add a chapter it doesn't go straight to the new chapter as it used to, it stays on the works page and instead of saying "add new part" in that spot it says "continue editing story" (or some nonsense) and you must click that to get to the new chapter you've just added. So again, more work for us to do! Thanks sooooo much Whatpad! I am sure they're working on fixing it *nudge nudge wink wink* as soon as possible.
Come on Whatpad, can't you get things right at least one time, please? We're waiting with baited breath for that day, wait it might collectively kill us if that happens, never mind ...
