Chapie 14

"He likes you."

"No he doesn't."

"What are you girls talking about?" Maxi asked, interrupting me and Kat's argument. He sat down next to us in the hallway, right now was lunch time.

"She thinks 'he' likes me just because he talked to me." I said, crossing my arms over my chest in stubbornness.

"She's got a point, he hasn't really spoken to you since the beginning of the first semester. Guys don't randomly talk to a girl and compliment her just to be friendly. Read in between the lines." Maxi states.

"You're lucky you're attractive." I said while patting his shoulder. They both glared at me. "C'mon, all during grade school that's what I did and you know what? I read wrong and got hurt. I'm serious, I'd rather crush on him in a corner like a little loner then fess up and get rejected another time." I said. My friend's eyes softened ad they both hugged me.

"It's okay, if he hurts you.. Me and Maxi are going to load our shotguns." Kat announced and slapped Maxi's back. I giggled at her attempt to make me happy.

"I'm still not confessing." I state making her facepalm herself. "Why are you slapping yourself, theats self abuse." I comment like the smart ass I tend to be.

"Lets go to Zehrs and buy food!" I suggest to Maxi. We were currently bored out of our minds and sitting on our bums after school with nothing to do.

"Everything you have suggested so far had to do with food." He remarks.

"What can I say? I'm fat yet I don't appear it." Oh how I loved my metabolism. I hugged my skinny stomach with happiness. I'm not stick figure skinny, in fact I have little curves that I'm perfectly happy with. I stared at him with pleading eyes.

"Alright, lets go get you some skittles." He huffed, I was about to squeal and jump on him yet a voice behind me stopped my actions.

"Do you mind if I tag along?" Spencer asked, butterflies grew in my stomach and happiness bloomed in me. Don't make a fool of yourself nicky, I mentally pleaded.

"S-sure." I mentally facepalmed. A stutter? Really? I'm such a dumbass. I jumped on Maxi's back.

"Carry me, my dearest bitch!" I hollered and I could practically hear his yes rolling. I loved him because he didn't do anything to get me off, he just walked to Zerhs, causing Spencer to chuckle. All I can do now is act like myself and hope for the best.

"So.. How's your day so far?" I asked spencer.

"It's great thanks for asking fatty." Maxi replied nonchalantly.

"I asked spencer that question you hobo." I retort and poke his cheek.

"Uhm, pretty good I guess. I know this is awkward but can you sing again? I'd love to hear... Please." He begged.

"Good luck, she doesn't even sing for any-" I cut maxi off.

"Pokemon, gotta catch em' all!

It is my destiny!

pokemon!" I sang loudly making the spencer, maxi, and the people across the street laugh.

"Not sure it goes like that, but if it doesn't then the producers wrote it wrong." I state proudly.

"You're something." Maxi said while asking his head.

"Shh." I said and flicked his ear.

"Pokemon is awesome." Spencer stated. OMG HE THINKS POKEMON IS AWESOME, I mentally squealed and tried to contain my excitement.

"We should all watch the series at my house tomorrow?" Maxi suggests, OMG Maxi I love you! "I could invite Kat too."

"Sure." Spencer says giving us a genuine smile.

"I'm in and don't worry, kat's going to come." I state while smiling evilly.

"So whose your favorite pokemon spence?" Maxi asks.

"Pikachu, who else?" He admitted, a grin popped up on my face.

"OH MY GOSH! MARRY ME!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"She's a huge pikachu fan." Maxi informed Spencer.

"I'm fangirling over here, shh." I stated and poked Maxi'a cheek. "Now lets go get some food for tomorrow!" I exclaimed while jumping off Maxi and ran to the junk food.
