Chapie 21

"You came back" I stated in disbelief.

"I've looked everywhere for you, then I started having a pain in my lower back and my friend suggested here. When I heard the name Nicolle in the title, I made a call and jumped in my car." He said.

"Uh... Uhm, we should discuss your health related issues not our issues." I said professionally.

"Can I take you out to dinner to tonight atleast? I promise I won't leave again." He offered.

"....fine, now what was it about that back problem?" I questioned.

"You've change." Spencer breathed, I raised an eyebrow.

"Is that good or bad?" I questioned with a smirk.

"It's good, you look beautiful tonight." He inquired.

"And I wasn't yesterday?" I asked humorously.

"I Didn't see you yesterday." He stated.

"How do I know you weren't stalking me? You were searching for me." I retorted, sending a wink. He chuckled.

"Are you... Going to eat that". I questioned while pointing at his unfinished steak.

"You can have it." He said whole pushing his plate towards me with a smile. He watched me carefully as I ate the steak.

"Can I help you? Do you want this back now?" I questioned playfully.

"No, I'm just amazed. All the girls I've met barely ate anything." He stated.

"Well I eat a lot because I'm a tomboy and I don't care what other people think." I said proudly.

"You don't look as much of a tomboy right now." He said pointing out towards my dress, heels, and curly hair.

"Here's the bill." The waiter came by and placed it on the table. I reached for my purse but spencer stopped me.

"Ill pay" he said.

"I wanted to pay." I pouted.

"I'm being a gentleman." He stated.

"Can I pay half? It'd make us equal." I questioned. He rolled his eyes playfully.

"..fine." We put the money on the table and left the restaurant.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Shh, it's a surprise." He said, making me pout. We walked for about five minutes before spencer said..

"We're here." And dragged me to a picnic blanket.

"We just ate." I commented.

"Not dessert." He stated while grabbing two pieces of cake and handing me one.

"Thank you kind sir." I said and started to eat the delicious food. After a while, we just laid next to each other staring at the stars. My gaze fell upon Spencer's face who was already looking at me.

"I have something to say.." He admitted and helped me. He dragged me to the lake.

"I realized that no matter how hard I try, I can't get you out of my head. I feel nervous around you, and I missed you like crazy when I was gone. I think... No, I know I love you." He stated.

"I love you too." I said. His hands gripped my waist, pulling me closer to him. His face inched closer to mine and soon, our lips were moving in sync. We kissed like there's no tomorrow. Butterflies were erupting in my stomach, tingles were felt all over.
